I am particularly interested to hear from people who work in IT and particularly developers. I am a developer trying to improve my understanding of how computers work at a lower level?
Do you have phones, PC's, tablets, gadgets. It would be good to see a list.
I am referring to gadgets with a microcontroller.

How will knowing what gadgets people have help you to understand how they work at a lower level?
Sounds more like marketing research to me.
Yes. As follows:
Phones
PCs
Tablets
Gadgets
It most certainly is not market research. I asked a similar question here today: http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/140481/lower-level-system-development. Perhaps Stack Overflow is better for this type of question.0 -

Why is that? I would perhaps say the same thing if I read some of your questions, but I would not post it as an answer.0 -
Have a Wi-Fi Pineapple, an S100 anyway jig, and a few home built toys (Arduino based clock, 10 channel light sequencer, card programmer, etc) kicking around.I mean a computing gadget i.e. something with a microcontroller in it.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -

I'm not sure that IT people really do "gadgets", my friends and I all watch the gadget show and laugh at some of the rubbish they come up with, usually along the lines of "seriously? what sort of idiot needs that?".“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
