Unlike other supermarkets, Asda sets a national price cap across its 245 forecourts. So the price cuts means drivers will pay no more than 121.7p/litre for diesel and no more than 117.7p/litre for unleaded at Asda.Price today at my nearest Adsa (Larkhall) ... 123.7 for diesel.

Should we expect to see further falls in the price of fuel now that the cost of oil is at a 4 year low? Hell I may even go and get a V80

The absurd thing is, buying a V8 is not as crazy it sounds, as Mercedes engines shut down the cylinders in banks, so only some of the cylinders fire. So it could be even more efficient than a four cylinder Ford Focus.0

Erm, that conveniently ignores the fact that even the best available four cylinder Escrote should cost less than £1000, whereas to access selective-shutdown technology, you'll be paying 40K plus for a top-end Merc.

You seem to have missed the point. Spending £40k will save someone 5mpg. Might even knock a few quid off the Tax.
Makes sense when you look at it that way:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
