Good morning all SPCers! I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. Bit of a dull day, but at least it's not raining. Thanks so much for your wishes to my DH, he's been back to the Dr about the pain with his hip and has to revert to taking the pills which help hugely, but apparently they are an anti-inflammatory as well as strong pain killers, and already they're making such a difference. Fingers crossed that by the end of this next box he'll be much better. I hope all SPCers are well, but if not and you’d feel better with a hug then here are really special {{{Hugs}}} just for you, and take good care!
Ok then, jakes-mum and Lynne, here's the IOU paid in full with a shiny gold star for you both. :staradmin:staradmin
Ahhhh, thanks for the praise, Westie, though I've gone all of a doo-dah now. Great work with that £12!Re full Terramundis: It did used to say on their site how much full ones held, but I've not been there for ages and can't remember. It'll be a fair whack though!!!
Phwaw, what a price for the embroidery machines, jakes-mum, but if you do a lot of work then I guess it warrants one; not for me though, I'll stick to my needles and threads. Were you serious about you sending my DH one of your microwave packs? If so then, we'll have one please as he's probably still got more pain to come after the pills have gone...and IF he should still need a hip replacement then he'll need help then for sure! So, please PM me if you're serious and we'll sort things out from there. Fantastic news about the £65 amazon vouchers - you done good!! :T
It's good to hear you're having fun with your Overlocker, TheDapster, collected some cash bags from the bank too - Don't forget those all-important bags from the banks, folks, they're vital!!!!! Thanks for the memory jog, TheDapster! :grinheart
Well saved again, Chutney, and all this saving will keep you from getting into a pickle!I know, I've said things of a similar vein before, but can't help myself. *shrugs shoulders*
Thanks again, 32b3, you're just too kind. Great savings btw.
hummingbird wrote: »Still potting after resuming even though I haven't been posting much! I will have something to report on "opening day" thank goodness!!
At a girl, hummingbird! :j Just remember to keep it up when we start again on the 6th!!!!
I really hope you're feeling so much better by now, Helen, if not then you definitely should be soon. Best wishes to you. Good savings btw.
tatabubbly wrote: »I may be opening my pot early but I'll post up the total after - me and OH have been buying small bits of a certain crockery set and they have went up for sale at 30% off - it would be a fab addition for us and also help save even more pennies in the long run!
I've really enjoyed this challenge the last two years and I'll be keeping my opened tin to continue potting for next year!
That'll be fine, tatabubbly, I'd hate you to miss out on a brilliant bargain like that, so go ahead. It's wonderful to know how you're enjoying SPC, all the best for 2016! :j
Great potting, Kerry!!
You're welcome, Lynne, and lovely work with the £20.....
...yours too, Dragon Lily, keep it up all!!
You 'n all, scotmumof3!! My, we are doing well. :j
[Quote=stormpassingEvening all, still potting away any bits of silver. Not counted them up just thrown them in. No idea how much to expect when I declare lost count. It's all very exiting.
Try to think low, stormpassing, that way you can't be disappointed. Whatever it is, it's money saved and not squandered so be proud of yourself!!!
Excellent potting, Justforme, keep it going!!
At least you're doing the right thing, Moonbeam, well done and well saved!
£15 in the pot after shopping with DD yesterday - plus £30 which was savings on buying goods from John L!wis against anyone else!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j REALLY CHUFFED with that!:D
So folks, roughly just 2 & 1/2 weeks until declaration day, so time to save furiously and - you CAN do to that, you know you can!!!!!Have a great Sunday, everyone, and feed those pots well!

Grr! Kids! DD lost her special teddy, we turned the house upside down looking for him, in the end she has to go to bed with another one as it's 9pm so waaaaay past her bedtime, and I jump in the shower. Get out and she's sparko so decide to have another hunt. I'm checking down chairs, round the loos, in the freezer! (She'd had a lolly after tea so not a totally mad thought), in all the school bags . . Can't find him.
I'm starting to panic and thinking 'God, don't let us have accidently thrown him in the bin!' (He's about 5" tall). Decide before I tackle that thought, I'll go through her room once more, so I'm on my hands and knees crawling round her room searching by the light from our landing, in all her toy boxes, her wardrobe, her clothes, I'm clambering over the bed like a ninja trying not to wake her to look down the side near the wall, but nope no sign. While trying to look in the 2 inch gap under her wardrobe, I notice said replacement teddy thrown on the floor under her dolls pram . . . I'm confused, she ALWAYS sleeps with A teddy, so I get up have a look at her and she's fast asleep with her special teddy clasped in her hand!
She must have found him while I was in the shower and just not bothered to tell anyone!
On the plus side, while searching I found 2p down my chairSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

I'm glad that the teddy was found. I still have the first teddy I was given
His name is Panda because he is one (not very original of me) but I would go into a panic if I lost him and I'm fully grown.
I have been putting all my spare change at the end of the week into my little pot and I'm going to aim to fill it in the remaining 2 1/2 weeks. I may be getting a little competitive with myself.Number 4950 -
Awww fab news on the teddy front, my nearly 9 year old is still a massive teddy fan his bed is full of them and rocking chair but he still takes his first bear nearly everywhere with him he has his own passport lol..
I found £2 doing the ironing last night so straight in the pig xNST October #24.
