Evening all. I've just potted £1.35. Not a lot but it all helps.

Had a lovely day though celebrating my DGS's 18th birthday.

Welcome to any new potters, enjoy saving.

    Hugs to all.

Sue - I'll be keeping an eye out for next weeks weather!! Surely we're due some sun??
We should have booked up to go away, but trying to be frugal with holidays this year - along with other things!!
12 weeks today though and we're off to the Algarve................. for some warmer rain!! 1st holiday of the year.

    Lynsey

It looks a little doubtful at first glance of next week's weather, Lynsey, whether it's the rain from Florida they said might hit I don't know, but it looks...wet!!! :( Not long until the Algarve needs to brace itself for you visiting then, a lot to look ahead to! :j

You're welcome, GAP, I just know how good it is for us all. Though not so easy with the buses obviously.

Oh, it's always so lovely to see the pleasure you all get come count up time, Dragon Lily, and whatever it is...its not been wasted!!! :j
Hi, I've been so busy being a mummy to my now 7 month old boy that this page left my mind temporarily but I have been potting like made with Christmas and 1st birthday (Boxing Day) slowly creeping up. I've filled one pot so much the lid won't close and the second pot is just over half filled one has coppers in (full) and the other has silver in. I think this year I could have actually saved quite a bit :)I'm excited. Happy potting day to you all.

It's only right you've been too busy with your little treasure, Island.girl, no need to worry about writing on the thread, I know which I'd choose! :A You sound so exited at having saved, brilliant. :D Just one question - the lid is almost off??? I though it was sealed!! :naughty: Stay saving hard.

Life can be hectic at times, owlet, so we forgive folk for not visiting us too much, especially in the summer - or what passes for summer at times. I quite understand the need to buy Christmas present as and when you see them, we need to where we can. Good luck with having to buy your folks gifts too, though I take it they give you the cash! ;)

Not too worry, Hicksy, with luck life will sort itself out for you.

Hiya Lost, and very well done with £26 savings!!! :D

Well done, Kerry, and thank you for the weekend wishes, a lovely one to you also.
Had a bit of a dizzying day as I saw 4 clients one after the other and that's a little exhausting....but it's worth it so I can't complain :)

Potted £2.45 this Afternoon.....so I'm really happy with that....Think that's going to be it until at least Sunday.... xXx :)

Good for you in seeing the positives, Helen! Great saving too. :D

Congratulations to your DGS on this very special day, Modesty, it's lovely to know you've had a really lovely time.

My poor DH needed an emergency appointment with the Dentist yesterday and with both Dentists attending him - found out he has shingles in his mouth, in the middle of the roof!!!! Apparently he got it via a viral infection. They're hitting it hard with 5 tablets a day for a week but he's in a lot of pain with it, bless him. I do hope it soon goes.

Have a really lovely weekend, everyone! Keep filling those pots!

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Well Sue-UU - your poor DH eh. Shingles is nasty, at the best of times, but to have it in the mouth sounds dreadful. Sending some gw vibes and hope it soon clears up. Am sending you some ((hugs)) as well as you really have enough on your plate already.

Hope you all enjoying the 'summer' and your holidays past, present or looming. The proper summer weather will probably arrive around 17th September as that's when we go away to see DS in Ibiza again :rotfl:

Potted £10 today for the week as only had a note and not enough change for less.

Hope you all have a super weekend

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

Sue - I wasn't even aware you could get shingles in your mouth!! Wishes to your DH and hope it clears quickly.

ModestyB - nice to hear and belated Birthday wishes to your DGS.

Potted 3 x £1 coins. £2 coins seem scarce and I've not had a single one since I stated I would stop saving them once they reach £300!!

Off shopping later, so should get some coins to pot for next week.

    Have a great weekend.

Morning all, I hope everyone is well and pots are filling up.

I haven't been around for a while as I had a baby four weeks ago so it's been a busy month adjusting to sleepless nights while looking after my two year old!

However, I potted £7 into my £ tin yesterday and emptied a bunch of coppers and 5p coins into the change jar so I'm back into it.

Just had my last full wages before maternity pay though so my potting will probably dramatically reduce in the next few months.

    Evening

Congrats jojoc, and welcome to the world to your new baby xx

I've booked the 5th and 6th of November off of work so I can pay the pottings into the bank on the 5th and go shopping on the 6th. My Christmas shopping is nearly finished, so I won't have much to buy, but that won't stop me :D

Hope your DH recovers quickly Sue. I didn't realise you could get shingles in your mouth either. I know that shingles is really painful though x

    £6.50 potted today.
