Continuing to pot away quietly, potted £10.50 yesterday to start the month off, so pleased with that

I have also put a percentage on my £365 target in my siggy to track progress better and spur me on, as I was falling behind a bit. I think it was 22% when I worked it out a couple of weeks ago, now just shy of 35% :j:j
Have a good bank holiday weekend potters
Let's get ready to bumble! :rotfl:0 -
Still potting here, albeit a bit slower than at first. Awake at stupid o'clock for a Sunday morning. Hubby is cycling in the Tour de Yorkshire sportive today so that meant him setting off at stupid o'clock. I was tossing and turning because I knew he had to be up ridiculously early so I couldn't settle. Off out running at 9.30 with some friends. Might have another sleep after that

Won £6.40 on the euromillions on Friday so I'll put that in the pot when I cash it in. Other than that things are going well. Hope everyone is doing ok. I haven't read all of the posts for a while, but hugs to anyone in need ((()))Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Well, what a month April was! Hubby hit 65, he won £40 that he put straight in the pot, I've been potting away too so that's at least £80 that went in.
Best of all---I'm going to be a Granny again! DD2 who got married in November is expecting her first baby, long time to go but I had to tell someone.Sealed Pot Challenge member 28

Hello all Potters, and how well you're ALL doing too! Please though, whenever some of you get feelings of raiding your pot, think twice as you'll be so terribly disappointed in 6 months time when we are all opening ours!!!
Our DD & her DH went to the MS Nurse last Tuesday, they thought it was for advice and support, but apart from "never have baths", "don't eat food too hot" and "keep out of any heat or you risk relapsing instantly" the rest was all about the treatment plans as the 4 Neurologists had already decided she was eligible for any of the treatments as her condition is "Fast Acting" and they want treatment to begin in 2 weeks. She can choose which treatment to go for, but they know now that it needs to be either the Chemotherapy, which would knock out her entire immune system for 3 months and leave her open to so much infection as well as having an over active thyroid and low blood pressure which she and I already have, or the other infusion type which she would go in hospital for 2 hours every month for 2 - 5 years in the hope that it would help, but nothing is known for sure! Also with the latter there is a risk of it causing Encephalitis which would be much worse than the MS and can even be fatal! With that particular treatment the results would be sent to Denmark where they test to see what's happening as a result, or if its working at all.
Not enough is known about either long-term, but, if she were to opt not to receive any treatment, worse case scenario is that in 5 years she could be in a wheelchair! Sadly the MS Nurse isn't a Nurse that she sees now and then as she's the only one in the region! They can ring her if they have any concerns but otherwise that's it! Difficult and worrying times ahead, but we will be here for her throughout! I'm so sorry I haven't been back earlier, but I've been a bit drained since but know you'll all understand.
Thank goodness you've finally found out something was wrong, Lynne! Take great care now and maybe you can heal properly and do everything possible to aid its recovery. More flowers for you...go on take them and pop them in that vase.
I do hope you're feeling much better now, Helen.
Hi Lucy and terrific news of your forthcoming Grandchild!!!! :j As with your DD & her DH, relish the looking forward to it all and keep us in the loop please.
Crikey Lynsey, is it really only 6 months to go til opening up time!! Keep filling em folks!
Stay well, everyone, and if you're not well now then get well soon!Have a really lovely BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY, everyone! Make the most of the day before the rain hits!!
