    Hugs to Sue's DD

Hugs also to you Westie :( I'm still suffering with this stupid bug and think I might have to take myself down the docs even though I know what he'll say, but I've had a recurring headache for 2 1/2 weeks now and the icky tablets don't work so can't harm for him to have a quick shufty in my ears and throat :(

Went out and bought my first Christmas present today as I had a £10 gift card for toys r us, and got 2 x£2 coins in my change and a little bit of shrapnel, so tins well fed today

Gosh Sue-UU, I really don't know what to say. My thoughts are with you and all your family. I'll light a candle for your DD and hope you all find the strength to deal with this. I'm sure that, when you have the time, the MS Society will be able to offer plenty of help and advice. I do know that the sooner treatment starts the better to hopefully keep it in check. Keep us in the know of how things are progressing - as you so often say, we are like a big adopted family on here

I hope everyone has a great day and remember to keep watching the group while they're out today for any road kill (lose change) you may come across for the pot.

I have therefore been via the supermarket to get chocolate to make me feel better

Chocolate is probably the worst thing you can get for your throat!!! The only thing i look forward to when i have a bad throat is drinking my weight in honey lemon and ginger :D i have a jar in the fridge and it never lasts long before i need to refill it.

Sue - I am so glad you have found out what has been wrong with your daughter. At least now you can move on and focus on getting better and managing the illnesses rather than wondering. By the sounds of it she has a wonderfully strong, caring family behind her.

£1.16 in the pot from me

Have not had any change to add to pot of late, I seem to be making lots of big payments for things with my card instead.

Hugs to all having a difficult time

Chocolate helped for a little bit - I'm now on the water with slices of lemon, as I cant stop coughing :-(

No potting for me today - but more transactions have tracked on quidco so hoping that pays out by next week....

    :-)

My quidco cashback was finally paid, so . . . . 35 x £2 coins in the £2 coin tin :D had to start a new tin as couldn't squeeze them all in! New tin feels decidedly empty and forlorn :( serious 'empty pot' syndrome in the jakesmum house today :o :rotfl:

Finally bit the bullet and rang the doctors for an appointment as have yet again got a banging headache that no tablets will touch and the sore throat of doom, and the place was shut! since when were doctors surgeries allowed to shut at 2pm?!?! We drove past it as we had to visit the solicitors and the door was covered in paper so DH wonders if its being repainted  thought they did that kind of thing after hours or on weekends *shrugs*, will try again tomorrow :(

Personally I don't think I should have to suffer with sore throats as I have to take a spoon full of (very overly expensive) honey every morning, so my throat should be in amazing health :rotfl: I shall write to manuka and complain to them :naughty:
