Lovely day yesterday and today looks good - so far.
Possibly out for a carvery lunch later.

Potted my final coins for the week and that's another 4 x £1 coins.

Well I'm back from my day out with the brownies,
What a great day for the weather, had a great day apart from the husky voice and trying to keep tabs on 15 girls, luckily I had a few parent helpers and my other guiders....

Now its time to relax my bones and hope I wake up tomorrow feeling less like I have swallowed a sword, or a rose stalk with all the thorns, or the cough does one too...

No potting today as no money spent but payday monday, so more then....

Helloooooooooooooo Potterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs

Well there I was thinking I was coming out the other side of this darn cold and it came back at me with a vengeance today! I've literally dragged my backsie round Mr T this morning and then sat in a chair watching tv for the rest of the day. Chest now hurts from this stupid cough, will have to see if it shifts by the middle of the week or might need to pop down the docs and check its not a virus of some sort.

DH gave me some change to put in the pot but my mind was totally not with it at the time so have no idea how much it was Hopefully he will return from the pub with a bit more for me and I can actually post a figure.

I am going to return to my tv now and find a film to watch, Apollo 13 is currently on, but TBH i'm not sure im up to concentrating on it so will see if theres something a bit less taxing, was going to read the other manifestos but they are way way way over my head today and I doubt I would remember any of the information at the minute so will save that for later in the week (especially as they all seem to be 84 pages + long!! :eek:)

cough is just as bad as the snots... thought I saw the otherside too but no... was a false negative... cold is still truly in situ....

yay for easy watching I'm watching ITV with nutters jumping on a assault course which is combination of total wipeout and gladiators....

I've just potted another handful of shrapnel. Keeping £5 in my purse for emergencies this week. Refusing to buy lunch at work, so planning on taking packed lunch. Hoping that my only expenditure is cake ingredients.

Gonna quit smoking, so using my pot as a way to make me quit. Every time I really want one, I'm going to put an extra £1 in.

I've just been sent an email pointing to ideas of how to make decorations, floors and tables tops with PENNIES! :eek: How wasteful! All my pennies go in my sealed pot.

I have just potted £3.57. I have also just got back from a 6.4k run. I am training for the vitality 10k which I am doing in July for Cancer Research. I will finish it even if it kills me.
