    Afternoon all.
Hope everyone is having some lovely sunshine and a good weekend

Yes, glorious up here in Newcastle. I think it's been the warmest day of the year (here) so far. Long may it last.

Potted 4 x £1 coins today - only spend was 4 pints of milk.
I should be able to pot my £25 cashback before the weekend and although I won't hit £400 by next weekend, I'll definitely hit it the week after.

  • Hiya all
Haven't been on for a while, I have been busy trying to get my head around YNAB. Anyway think I have finally sorted it so can now focus my attentions back onto the forums, have potted the odd copper here and there over the last week or so, would say roughly a pound, if my window cleaner hasn't been by the end of march I will stick that money in Aswell for a little boost. Take care all, am now off to read back and have a catch up on everyone's journeys. Xxxx

    £2.95 potted today.

Was supposed to go to a concert last night to see my DGS's first professional gig. Unfortunately my DH was unwell and I decided to stay with him 'just in case'. Apparently DGS's band went down very well and hopefully will get more bookings.

    Hugs to all.

Sounds amazing Jakes-Mum. When are you going back? You will go back :D everyone does. I went for the first time years ago, and now I aim to go twice each year.

I have had the day from hell today, but tomorrow can only be better.

    I potted £2.03 I think.

    Hope everyone is well.

Looool, we're already talking about returning as there's so much still to see! My mum wasn't overly impressed when she went but after I wouldn't stop talking about how fabulous I thought it was she's said she might look at going again :rotfl:

Would definitely not be until at least next year as DD was very upset we left her (4 lots of tears in the weeks before we left :( AND informed her teacher we were going away without her and got so upset the teacher pulled me to one side at pick up time  . . . She was fine while we were gone though *rolls eyes*) so we are doing a family holiday to Spain in October and see what the finances say after that ;)

Hoping you have a much better day tomorrow 32b3

Completely forgot to say about any potting in my last post and still have yet to remove and pot the 3 x £2 coins and growing lump of change that's weighing down my purse!

Good Morning to you all, SPCers, what a truly gorgeous weekend, I hope you all really enjoyed yourselves....and the sun! :grinheart Don't forget the clocks go forward at the weekend!! :j To all those not be feeling great or who have problems, here's hoping you will be very much better soon or that things will turn out well. For now, here are some special SPC {{{hugs}}} to help you through the rough times. Have a good week, all Potters, and save cash as often as possible!

Sorry to hear about your fall, Hicksy, but why ever didn't you do the moving when your OH was there? :naughty: You could easily have hurt baby as well as yourself!! I'm not at all surprised at your update on the missing money and rings, though I'm thrilled to bits to see you're now debt-free! Excellent work and very well done!! :T Now rest up and take care of you BOTH!

    Cracking potting, Donna.....

    ......you also, Chutney!
Well I have managed to pot the £5 I had in my purse.

I'm thrilled to bits for you about that £5er, ETO!! What a time 2 am is to have to go in to work in the morning!!!!!!

Lucky you with the scratch card, Dragon Lily! I sometimes wonder if DH & I wouldn't be better off doing the occasional one of those rather than the lottery. Oooh...pork pies! :D We haven't had one for yonks, veal, ham and egg one either...but just maybe one will plop into the shopping trolley later in the week! ;)

I understand what you mean about not saying anything on here just in case, jakes-mum, best to be safe than sorry. It sounds as though you had an amazing time over there. Didn't bump into sparky I suppose?! :( Though chances are he'd have been back before you went. I wish he'd drop in now and again and at least say hello and update us about Mrs sparky.

I'm so pleased you're loving life with Lucy, chasingthedream, aren't babies gorgeous, the smell of them and their gurgles, absolute bliss! :kisses: Please give her a cuddle for me. £15 potted is perfect.

Best wishes for a much better day, 32b3.

Great work, Anna, keep it going!

So you have a musician in the family, Modesty, good for him and I hope he continues to do well. I hope your DH is feeling a lot better now..if not that he soon will be.

    Excellent potting, frogletina!!

Some really great savings, Potters! Enjoy your Monday!

    Sue x
