Yeah, and I'd be frightened it would be the latter, 32b3!To be honest, I'm a country bumpkin of latter years and far prefer the quieter life like the Scottish Highlands or peaceful areas of France - utter bliss for DH & me!!!! With luck and a fair wind we'll be up the Highlands in June! :j
Good luck with buying all your baby bits, Hicksy, a fantastic time.

Hi All,
Sue, I had my hip replaced last May with the subsequent months of work till January then I returned to work to be told at my follow up that I have trapped nerves in my scar tissue so I had to go back under the knife two weeks ago to see if I could save the sensitivity in my thigh, I went from 80% of my thigh numb, 20% very sensitive, to slowly the nerves have been "woken" up so now slowly the numbness is being replaced with sensitivity with the hope that they (nerves) will settle down and give the normal sensitivity i had pre op, so it's going to be a painful journey while the nerves are transitioning, there is a suggestion that it may cause too much of a sensitivity that they are over reactive in which my surgeon will have to cut the nerves and turn my whole leg numb!?!?! So it's just a waiting game, to see what the outcome will be.
Should know within around three months, so it's a grin and bare it situation.
Life is a roller coaster for those who can stomach the ups and downs....
I have been chosen.
