old 15watt = 136 lumen
old 25w = 250 lumen
old 40w = 470 lumen
old 60w = 806 lumen
old 75w = 1055 lumen
old 100w = 1521 lumen
so If you want a nice bright light… definitely look at the lm value in the bulb you are thinking of purchasing.
struggling to find any led candles that are 806 lumen though, and that’s the minimum we want in the hallway

I'm surprised to read of the flurry of posts akin to buying cashmere gloves on an old style forum.
Cashmere is a very thin fibre. It likes to pill and doesn't contain anywhere near the insulation properties of even a bog standard lowlaying lambswool, let alone a mountain dwelling fleece. The strands are goat fibre. It comes from the very fine downy undercoat of the animal. It's so finicky that it loses its shape so incredibly easily and is tremendously attractive to the moth. It's such a short and weak fibre that an expensive pair of gloves made out of the downy fibre isn't going to last very long I'm afraid. To take the added risk by investing in second hand cashmere gloves isn't, in my opinion, an investment at all.Liv

I'm wondering whether the cashmere might be a good fit for me. I find "normal" wool to be itchy so would be interested in trying out something else if others find it soft. Might wait for my PIP cost of living payment to come through and treat myself to a pair on ebay. If no good for me, I'll send on to my sister.
