Primrose the dried veg is ideal for me. My kind of cooking is a "hang the pot over the fire and chuck in a fresh hedgehog once a week" kind of thing.11

Ditto Sainsbugs. 10 kg sacks of plain and SR flour for £5 reduced from £10. (But Lidl is still cheaper!)It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!6

5 x trays of home grown beans in the dehydrator 2 x French beans left whole and 3 x runner beans cut into diamonds. It's going to take a day or so to dry them properly but they'll then fit into a big glass jar and go into the cupboard and I don't need electricity to store or reconstitute them.5

Flour seems to be more available now, doesn't it? I always thought there was no difference between plain flour with appropriate baking powder quantity and SR flour. However, i made DD a birthday cake with SR flour yesterday, having managed to get some, and everyone agreed it was better than usual... Maybe i will need to keep both after all..
Edit - gosh Boazu, you're doing well to have homegrown beans for dehydrating. Mine are still at the flowering stage and then not many... If we get any, we'll eat them first and then freeze any we've not managed to eat - though i confess we don't have loads in the first place..I wanna be in the room where it happens6 -
My Lidl only got the first lot's of plain and SR flour last week, so got a couple off bags last week and done the same this week, which was nice timing as I only had 1/2 lb of each left. I need to have a re-arrange of my cupboards and store things more tidy and stock take at the same time, see what else I still need.£71.93/ £180.004
