£1m house but “on the breadline”.

My first reaction was to laugh, but then i thought well there must be plenty of people living in expensive houses and they've got no cash. I was thinking about the pensioner who'd been in their house and seen the price rocket around them. But after reading the story......... is that house really worth £1m ?. They need to do what everyone else is doing, learn to live within their means. Take a flask of coffee out with you and give Starbucks a miss.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I think shes surpassed the point in which she owns things and entered the phase of her things owning her.0

She's on the breadline but still buys coffee at Starbucks and talks about shopping at Aldi instead of Waitrose like it's a huge sacrifice. £100 a week on food for a family of six shouldn't be too much of a struggle, she's got a massive kitchen with lots of storage space so it's not like she can't batch cook lots of meals (using those inferior Aldi ingredients).
They don't need a huge house so all their kids can have a room of their own, and they didn't need to spend so much money in one blow on their house, they chose to do those things and are surprised that they haven't got any money left? Boohoo.0 -

"It's not fair.. look at my beautify house, it is so beautify that I cannot afford to make it more beautiful or send my children to private schools. We can't even afford a second trip to Disney Florida this year!"
Two people with unpredictable earnings have over spent. I'm pretty sure they just need to come on here and quote their SOA
They might have also thought slightly ahead that 4 kids and private school are a mighty expensive combination.0 -
And there's me stressing about borrowing a couple of k for double glazing. :rotfl:0

She seems to realise that from what I read.
So now we know what ruggedtoast looks like.
