Hurt my feelings? Get a grip. I just don't see the need to kick someone (who has done nothing to you), when they're down.
Consideration costs nothing.
I think you're embarrassing yourselves TBH.0 -

And if they do gloat, I'd say they're just getting even. Hopefully the deluded HPIers will crawl back under their rock.

So much unnecesary anger.0 -
ixw,
I think you may be p***ing in the wind here. There are a lot of HPC proponents on this board.
Some people will always miss whichever boat......In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
If you buy a packet of Persil in Tescos today for £4.00 and it goes on special offer tomorrow for £3.00 do you run squealing to the Manager ?
No, you take it back and say you bought the wrong thing then buy it again with the credit note for a pound less.
As for spiteful points scoring, there has been plenty from both camps. As much as I wouldn't like to see any MSEer suffer from negative equity, I also don't like the idea of MSEers being priced out of the market. (For MSEer read anyone who works for a living).
I think the OP asked a stupid question but I've read a lot about irresponsible lending (rarely irresponsible borrowing). People claiming for being missold endowments - who will bet against the government saying people have been missold houses? Bank charges being declared unreasonable and illegal - why not housebrick charges?
The OP's best bet is to get the Scottish Parliament to make the sale illegal (assuming it was an English housebuilder).
GGThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0 -
Cant help but chip in here....
A lot of posters are basically saying.... "tough" to the buyer.
Yes, that's true. But all of us here must be interested in buying or have bought a house, or we wouldnt be in this thread.
We wouldnt like it if it happened to us. But that's life and we move on. Best not to think about it and just enjoy your new house. In 10 - 15 years time, you'll be glad that you bought it when you see its value double.0 -

Thanks. Doesn't mean that they all have to be deliberately rude, spiteful and nasty though.
Or am I beng naive? lol
Maybe a little naive. In my short time here, I do remember some heated exchanges!
BTW, I was agreeing with you!In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
