Best one I had for a while was the person that wrote me a poem about how I shouldn't pack his item in polystyrene as he had a phobia of it. I mean a huge poem. Wish I had kept it now, it was hilarious.

I'm sure I read it on here, but does anyone remember the post where a seller was asked to personally tell the postman not to hand parcel over to the son (or daughter?) when it was delivered as it was their Christmas present and they didn't want them to see the parcel being delivered .

I had a couple of oddballs a few years ago.The first was a buyer who claimed he hadn't bid on my item, but his account had been hacked by Albanian asylum seekers who lived in the same block of flats.Strangely, and unlike most hackers, the Albanians failed to list any items on Ebay but purchased car spares for the same make and model of car that the original buyer had done.
The second was a buyer who claimed that he was a workmate of the buyer, whose computer had allegedly broken down, and that said 'workmate' would only be able to access my messages from a work computer. In a spirit of mischief,I sent my messages late at night or in the early hours of the morning, and got a reply shortly after. The 'workmate' must have spent 20 hours a day at work!
I eventually got paid by both buyers. Each item sold for just over a pound.Never did work out how their actions were of any benefit to them!
