Share your crazy customers and ease mine!

I very rarely get a crazy customer, I received a message earlier today, "parcel was due on the 24th, today is the 24th, where is it?".

I responded with the polite message, asking to hang on, apologies, etc, etc..

Then he demanded a refund for me overcharging. I asked what that meant. Apparently it's illegal to charge for goods and for them not to be received and he's now reporting me (just to Amazon for now!) unless he gets an immediate refund.

How crazy do some people get? It's not like it wouldn't be hard to get money back anyway.

I like to think I'm almost impossible to wind up but this guy seems to have managed it today. Not after advice, I'll make him sweat, then refund (it's about a tenner), I'll probably get a neg but not too fussed about that.

So feel free to share your crazy/irate customers.

I wouldn't refund! Make him open an a-z claim (if you can stand the defect...). Bet he won't! Unlike ebay, Amazon are quite good at banning customers who abuse their dispute system. I don't get any crazy customers, thankfully (touch wood)...

I've had some humdingers over the years, I have lost count of the times I have been 'reported' to eBay or amazon- for some imagined failing.

I had a bit of a run ( well about 3 in a year) of people not understanding how BIN with best offer worked. In those cases they made an offer but before I accepted or declined it someone else bought it, and apparently that is against, the law as I should deal with each person in turn.

I've been accused of profiteering quite recently as they know where I buy my stock and I am charging more than I paid- and again they were going for report me to auction fraud.

I've also quite recently had someone get quite nasty because I wouldn't tell them where I got my stock, but they were disabled and had no money and needed an income and they only wanted my stockist so they could make a bit towards a holiday and if I didn't tell them then I would not be forgiven by God.

Someone messaged me about a coat I had for sale- would I mind telling them what colour shoes I wore with it-as they had one the same and they didn't know what colour to wear.

Another one won a very large and cheap piece of furniture. Failed to turn up three times, I eventually refunded him and told he couldn't have it. He tolde me everyone in the streets Internet was down and I was ruining his new business venture and his new account ( obviously I left him bad feedback as he was to stupid to know I am not allowed to) Gutted I .ruin someone's life and business over . 99p - does this face look bovvered

I had a person who kept sending me loads and loads of questions on a buy it now- I blocked her as she was becoming a pain and didn't bid. I blocked her and got a message asking why as she was looking forward to receiving it- well bid on it you mad old bat!

I get the occasional bit of grief but I wouldn't swap for a market stall, especially fruit. I go past a fruit stall a few times a week, it looks like the most stressful job going. Early rises, cold weather and punters wanting to pay 10p for a £2 bunch of grapes because there's a mouldy one on top.

He can wait until morning and I'll check it out, chances are it will turn up then. I can stand a defect but could do without the added stress.

A few years ago I was in the US for a few months before Christmas and just to keep my hand in I listed a few things on Ebay. It was back when titles were shorter and I used "Xmas" in the title. I received a very long message from someone who informed me she wasn't interested in my item but wanted to pick me up for substituting "Christ" for an X. There was a very long preachy message. I thanked her for having so much time to spare to be able to correct me, even though the X represents the Greek letter and is an accepted abbreviation of "Christos" in theological circles.
