Ok here is mine, buyer is American, sending me over the top friendly messages - she was having a bit of trouble checking out, sorted it out for her and get this message:
Hi! I have great news! I did get the invoice on my paypal. Thanks for helping me out. I'm going to go ahead to make the payment today. Thank you so much for being so cool about it all. I really have enjoyed buying from you. Hope you have a really lovely Thanksgiving and all the Jazz!
So I post the item and get this message:
Hi! Thanks for the great feedback. I really liked the flying stars. I was curious if you happen to know the tracking info for the shipment. Where I live, unknown people happen to steal from others belongings and knowing when to keep an extra eye out would be great help. If you don't have it, no worries. I hope you're doing great!

If it was cheap i would have cut it into tiny pieces small enough to fit into a jiffy bag and add a note with the RM logo.
Dear receiver, Your item was too large for the delivery vehicle, we had to trim it down slightly.
Please accept our apology and a free tube of glue to reassemble your item.
Even include the filings from sawing it up.
As you may notice i have an evil/wicked streak...Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
My best loon was someone who claimed I'd broken data protection laws by putting his personal details (his name and address) on the outside of the package I sent him."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

That is definitely the day you want to find a handy wall to bang your head against.
Oh, just remembered one of mine I actually posted about on here years ago. Printed off label via Paypal and noticed he had spelt a common first name wrong- decided it might be one of those fancy spellings so left it. It was something like Charles spelt Chalres. A few days later I got the most patronsing emails explaining that here in Britain we spell that name 'Charles' and if I was going to try and sell here I would need to learn English spellings so as not to annoy people. My own name is very English as is my email address.
I was cross so I emailed back and explained that I printed the label direct, so any miss spelling was his- and he went absolutely crazy at me, claimed I had hacked his accounts and was trying to make him look foolish- and once again I was 'reported' to ebay, the police, M15 and immigration....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm always amazed at the amount of fully grown adults who don't have the simplest grasp on the English language and basic grammar. I used to assume it was maybe someone whose first language wasn't English, but when I look at their full names on the sales records, this suggest otherwise.
Apart from that one of the biggest nut jobs I had was a random punter who took it upon himself to message me to inform me that he had noticed items I had for auction were occasionally selling for more than the same items I had listed for sale as a BIN. I humoured him and sent back a brief message explaining that consumer psychology was a weird gig. He then sent me back a 768 ish word essay explaining that this was not acceptable to him, and he would be "keeping a close eye on my sales figures", before deciding if "he would report me to the relevant authorities" or not.
I posted about it on here, including his ebay ID (so others could keep an eye out for him) and some lovely poster on here must have messaged him on eBay and he sent me a message telling me he had passed the details over to his solicitor who was going to sue me for defamation of character. He had a 100% success rate apparently and the papers were in the post, so he suggested I look out a nice cardboard box, as I would be sleeping in the street as I would have nothing left by the time he had finished with me. I told him I was looking forward to it, but sadly, I guess the papers must have got lost in the post, as I'm still waiting.........
Some people really have too much time on their hands.....0 -
Good to see you've managed to avoid the lightning bolts.
I am always surprised how often I am 'threatened' with God related punishments.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. ooh religious nuts... I find it wonderful they think that their god has time to pamper to them directly and punish others at their whim.
Anyone that mentions religion or honest and trustworthy gets my nutter of the week award...
In my opinion only a scammer mentions religion or says you can trust me.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

You don't need to look any further than this forum to realise the extent of that0
