How do I get a verification code for popla? Or should I email them saying appeal has been ignored?

    1) Do I contact the debt recovery team and say my appeal in writing has been ignored?

    2) How do I get a verification code for popla? Or should I email them saying appeal has been ignored?

    1) no , the debt collectors wont give a monkeys, they just want you to pay them so they get their cut from the deal , nothing else matters to them

read post #26 as regards debt collectors (and post #4 of the newbies sticky thread)

    2) only the PPC can issue a popla code, nobody else , so without a popla code there is nothing popla can or will do and they will fob you off back to the PPC (UKPC)

Send the new complaint/appeal by snail mail with free certificate of posting at the PO (not recorded) to UKPC
Just complain that you appealed on time (advise the date you posted it) and that UKPC have not responded to it.
also do what post #25 told you to do

    Please re-read my post #25.

You're highly unlikely to get one direct from the PPC without BPA intervention. Please follow advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ok a bit of too ing and fro ing, and the very very kind people at the BPA have helped me to get the clock reset, and ukpc have sent a blah blah pay now, reduced rate letter with a POPLA reference number on it!! Phew!

Im reading through some of the POPLA examples, is the advice to just read a fair few and create my own version? Coupon Mad posted that the wording to POPLA is crucial, so thought Id check with the experts before I mess this up as well.

Oh and THANKYOU for the proverbial kick up the rear end all those that did, it was needed, and Im on track again.

yes is the simple answer, but start by looking at the ones linked in post #3 of the newbies sticky thread (click on the blue words) and try to find a recent example that you can adapt

also use the forum search with suitable words for similar appeals already drafted by other members, maybe the name of the land in question, or retailer, or some other suitable search word

ie:- dont reinvent the wheel, if you find a good one approved for somebody else, use it , adapt it , submit it, and dont be tardy and let the popla code expire, now you have got it , use it

    good luck
