IMHO Simple answer this really - Shouldn't be a moral dilemma.
The person delayed is the person that claims and gets the compensation. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

I'd be very wary of just taking the compensation without telling my employer. If the employer, rightly or wrongly, takes the view that it should have gone to them then you risk being on the receiving end of disciplinary action.
If it was me I'd tell my employer that I might be entitled to compensation and ask if they wanted me to pursue a claim in working time, and at their expense. I'm pretty sure the answer would be no. I'd then say that I might make a claim in my own time, and at my own expense, for my benefit. That way my employer would know what I was doing and wouldn't be able to claim the money from me if I was successful.0 -
You suffered the delay, you submit the claim, you should get the compensation.0

You were the one who suffered, so I think you should be the one compensated. So, I suggest that you keep it.0

I would offer the money to my employer. The reason being is that if my employer were to put in a claim, and then be told that I had been paid out, then they would consider me dishonest.0

Flight delay compensation is there for the individual who had to go through the inconveniance of waiting for the flight. You were the one who had suffered the delay so it's you who get's the money.Looking at the situation as i've just described i'm not sure how your boss could even justify claiming any compensation for the personel inconveniance caused to you.If in the unlikely event your boss demands the comp. then you could claim for the seven hours pay(unless your salary). One final point,i'm sure it's only the passenger that can claim,so why say anything?0

Urmmmm keep it for yourself mate!!0

You were the one delayed not your employer. You get the compensation.0

If you were delayed during the company's time and as a result they were deprived of your other duties, I would say that your employer should be recompensed. However if the compensation is paid directly to you, I would say or do nothing unless the matter is raised.0

Hi, for me, I think, the question who will get the delay compensation paid really depends on the agreement clause you had for this case.0
