  • Carolbee, that sounds lovely, I also enjoy doing it as much as the kids enjoy it :) when my little boy (7) found the postcard from the elves the other day amongst the post, he spotted the little sleigh postmark 1st, and said " look mummy, its looks like its from the north pole", then when he turned it over and saw the picture on the front ( i had exited a photo of santa i found on the internet, to include our 2 elves that visited last year) his face lite up, and he ran off shouting to his sister to come look! absolutely priceless :)
Tinkers7, wow thats fab that your girls are still enjoying this at there age :) xx
One day I will live in a cabin in the woods

Have been stalking card factory, as they have a new range of elf stuff coming out.

I managed to get one of last years stock, to match my original one, and the new ones will be put out this week in my local branch.

I can now complete my book I'm doing for my granddaughters to take when we visit, the story of the two elves.

Don't know about the granddaughters, but I'm loving it!

Some great ideas here will pinch some of them. My ideas so far are

elf to be tied up by lego men
elf to be sellotaped to the wall with toy soldiers pointing guns at him
    elf playing on ds
    elf wearing school shoes
elf sitting on toilet lid having had an accident (chocolate drops)
elf fishing in toilet / sink
elf floating in a boat in the bath/sink
elf spilling toothpaste over the sink
elf writing on mirror in lipstick
elf hanging from ceiling wearing spider man mask
    pants on the Christmas tree
elf putting toilet roll across bedroom door
elf playing scrabble with age appropriate rude words
elf reading a book to other toys
elf playing snowballs (mini marshmallows) with other toys
elf turning the toilet water a different colour
race track masking tape as edges and cars along the 'road'

My son is older (no longer believes in father Christmas) so alot of the above might not be so suitable for younger kids.
