Not all mobile companies enforce their Payg termination terms as quickly/strictly as others. Me personally i would rather be on the safe side and make the occassional call just in case.0

Agree, just call your landline number, pick it up, then hang up, job doneEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
I have a Three PAYG phone on the corner of my desk.
We use it to receive occasional incoming calls.
We have had it for around four years - can't really remember.
It has *NEVER* been topped up it has *NEVER* had any credit on it over this time.
Daughter1 was given it by Three when she upgraded her phone to put in her old phone to 'give to a family member'
It still works, I just phoned it!
I agree with you i have had mine about the same time and never topped it up and the sim is not even in a phone
i just tried it and its still working.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
My Tesco sim was never topped up and remained alive for ~2.5 years.
Then it suddenly died...
So, it's just a gamble that isn't worth it really if you value the number in the slightest.0 -
I thought three's policy is that credit you have will never expire, so means youll still have an active card as long as you have 'credit'?0
