    Cannot find my GUAG today

Docs this morning, counselling this afternoon, so will do best I can muster

Docs done, another two weeks off sick and still no HRT

My GUAG got angry so kitchen has been done except the floor mopping which I will do later after cooking.

Spoons to those who need them xx
  • Hello all

I'm in again this week (albeit late!). Thanks for the lists this week Natty

Yesterday I managed to clear my ironing basket (although I have another load to iron tonight, if it's dry *groan*) and bleach the shower.

Has anyone got any tips on getting those no drill shower caddys to stick on the shower wall? (I have a tiled shower cubicle), 2 of the 3 suction cups just won't hold. Any recommendations would be gratefully received, I've tried wetting them and then sticking them to the clean wall but the same two keep coming unstuck.

Hugs, spoons and sticks to all

  • Have spent the morning procrastinating. Not that there weren't a huge number of emails that needing answering, and I've made quite a few useful phone-calls that I needed to do this week....

But who am I kidding? I need to clean my house, and I'll do anything but get on with it!

Have eaten lunch early, so there's now no excuse. Off to the bathroom!

Monday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    15 minutes...
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks

    30 minutes to spare...
Clear any clutter from desk and file the necessary bits and shred the rest!
Pull out PC desk and declutter/vacuum behind it, making it all pretty and clean..
    Descale shower head!
Dust wipe and vacuum keyboard! Polish screens!

    Got an hour...
    Wipe down tiles and mirrors
Clean shower screen/curtain.bath mats etc if required

Right. On with it, and no delay... Stopping at 2:30pm for a cuppa.

    MissH xx
  • Well what a morning.

Booked an doctors appointment for DS2 as he was very dozey and chesty this morning. Got there, told receptionist we were here and she told us which room to wait in. Was busy but an hr later we were still waiting. DS2 was sounding better so I thought stuff it, if he gets worse Il bring him back. DS1 had had enough too. Told receptionist I wasn't willing to wait any longer and she looks mortified and apologises that she didn't book me in properly and promises me I will be next with a note to the doctor that I wasn't late and was her fault.

2HOURS later we get home and I realised that yet again I had rolled in dog poo on the way home. I am NEVER walking through the park again (sure I said that last time). All cleaned up, lunch had and dailies quickly done so I am giving myself a well needed break while ds1 plays with his trains and ds2 sleeps.

Will do kitchen this evening once kiddies are hopefully in bed. What a morning.

Deko- Sorry no advice for those, I too can never get things like that to stay!

W.W - Hope your DD passes next time 3rd time lucky and all that.

Hope everyone is having a better day than my good self. Had to laugh when I saw the poo though, was either laugh or cry

  • OK - 14:45pm not 14:30pm, but I have finished my bathroom, and I've hoovered the hall and the kitchen floors, too, while I was at it.

    :A

Thanks for the inspiration, people: I really needed it today!

Back tomorrow to tackle my sitting room/dining room

    Have a great evening

  • Hi - just back home after leaving at 8:45!!!!

Have achieved target weight - for now anyway YAY!! And had a very productive 3 hours sorting books at museum. Due to lack of food I wolfed an M n S egg and watercress sandwich down whilst walking home - hate eating food in the street but needs must!!!

Just having a hot drink to try and warmup then I need to get on before DH gets home.

    Hugs to Katiecat.
GUAG vibes and Spoons to anyone needing them and several sticks thrown into the sea for any BDs to chase.

Deko you could try wiping the tile with neat vinegar first and the cap to check there is no grease on either, let them dry then retry.

Loads of stuff returned to town. Finally found a bra which fits but it was £48, looking for a figleaves code but just missed last offer and next one looks like 1/12 so I may wait until then and try to reorder.

Going to stuff chock in the Aga and then do something (not sure what)

Thanks for the spoons, folks; much needed, and much appreciated.:o

WM x 2 done; bread made in BM; kitchen cleaned again; most of Ted's stuff packed - just his bed, water bowl and 2 toys to pick up.

Once he's gone, I'll throw the Dys0n round the bungalow.

Plan is also to do wax bath for my hands & feet tonight, while there's no dog here - Daisy the Shiba Inu will be arriving tomorrow morning.

Also need to do a towels'n'hankies wash tonight - I'll put in the teacloth I use for doggy dishes, too.;)

Katiecat (((HUGS))) sweetie - hang on in there, my friend.
