Monday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    15 minutes...
Clean floors in these rooms will do tomorrow as going to wash bath mats
    [STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets and sinks[/STRIKE]
    30 minutes to spare...
Clear any clutter from desk and file the necessary bits and shred the rest!ongoing but little clearer
Pull out PC desk and declutter/vacuum behind it, making it all pretty and clean..oh not a chance yet!
Descale shower head!another one for tomorrow I'm afraid
    [STRIKE]Wipe down tiles and mirrors[/STRIKE]
    Also done:
    - Went to gym (Insanity - that's the name of the class as well as a fair description). We raised £1700 at last Friday's charity zumba.
    - One student to see at uni.
    - Discussed new client assessment on phone and emailed details.
    - After ages trying to figure out non-existent instructions on how to put together and operate new leaf sucker and shredder, managed to get it to work and sucked up patio leaves. 1st 15-odd pages of the 'manual' were safety e.g. do not wear earrings which may get caught? huh? My leaves are on the ground not above the neck.
    - Read & printed off documents on new student starting Thursday.

Oh well, not too bad for my first day of my first week as a returner.

  • Hi everyone

Only had time to skim though. Feel like its been a fairly good day and the bathroom and office have both been done.

Off to get DS2 into bed, he wangled a day off school today with a very sore throat and a bad head (he does have a bit of cold). He will be going tomorrow but he is a bit quiet. Cant decide if there is something bothering him but he wont talk to me about it. Sigh.

must do tax return stuff and send off!

Yes that's pretty high on my list. Gathered together most of the paperwork I needed a couple of weekends ago owing to a short-notice visit from my brother who's an ex-accountant/small business advisor. We went through what I had, I asked a few inane questions and made copious notes. Er, that's as far as it got. The desk-clearing task for today may enable me to double-check there are no more receipts etc lurking around, so that's given me another incentive. Keep reminding me and I'll keep reminding you!

    Evening all,

I haven't tackled the list due to being out from 7.40am to 4.40pm. In the spare 20min I had, I put the groceries away, put dinner in the oven, picked up all sorts of tat off the LR floor and then vacced it (floor, not tat). Finished up dinner, tidied away kitchen after, got kiddies ready and off to bed, then I had a well deserved cuppa.

Was first day back at paid stuff so has been hectic. Will be more of the same tomorrow. I haven't really taken in much of the Fred, sorry :o

Hugs to all, I'll be shortly away to Bedfordshire myself <yawn>

  • Evening all.

I have done all bathroom chores, including skirting. I did nearly pass out from some bleach fumes. Think I used a tad too much as house currently still smells like a swimming pool!

List for tomorrow is still to be decided. I don't think I have any washing !! Was meeting a friend but her son is sick so have rearranged for next week. that's the last thing we need!

    Night all xx

  • Morning!

I went to bed really early last night and woke with my bedsocks on still - so it must be cold!!!

Weigh in this am. Fingers crossed please I achieve target as I could really do to stop paying in the run up to Xmas!!

Then off to Vol Job 2 to help sort the donated books ready for next year.

Hoping to pick up some material whilst in next town to make two cushion covers for DS as extra pressie. Hope they hold together as I don't have a machine!!

Not sure when I'll be back but hope you all have a good day. There are plenty of spoons spare here so just help yourselves, please.

Take care and catch up later. x

Morning all. Thanks for the list. No flying got done here yesterday apart from the dailies. I've just had breakfast, so I'm going to dash up to the bathroom before DD hogs it, and then clean my bedroom before walking the dogs.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning everyone

Cold here, the dog woke us up during the night barking - no idea what was wrong with him but OH says it was really cold in the utility room where he sleeps. So I am a bit tired this morning.

Paid stuff then taking my Mum shopping straight after. OH is fitting the rest of the kitchen units this week so not much I can do at home anyway. I think I am better off out of the way.
