Evening, well Iv made inroads with todays list, lots of stuff I did over the weekend was clearing up after plumber had left, he made lots of dust in the bedrooms so everything needed dusting down. Did most of cleaning in the bathroom, just tiles left to shine up. Managed to fit in a quick run today only about a mile and half though as im building back up after a knee injury took me out of running for almost all of this year. Going to have a nice relaxing night, do HHI whilst watching the soaps and Im a celebrity and maybe a cheeky glass of vinoSPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Sparkly, newly cleaned out, sorted and restocked cutlery tray full of spoons heading your way, LW.
CS that accepts electrical goods visited and enriched with something that was going back up to the loft after it was returned from long-term loan to friends who have moved to the USA; smaller of the two CSs visited with small stuff but the bigger stuff had to go to the further away CS because the small one is stuff to the gills (good); and then ... to the dump, to the dump, to the dump dump dump ... with good enough stuff to recycle to the recycling section and the rest satisfyingly skipped. If you hadn't mentioned that we do our best work in the first 20 minutes sorting, Dusty, some time ago, I'd still be up in the attic getting disheartened. As it is, another huge pile has been *flung* very satisfactorily and thoroughly.
Thence to the chalet where the lack of shower cleaning by the last guests of the season has come home to roost, armed with fla$h-type liquid in a spray bottle, a scrubbing brush, a microfibre cloth, bicarb, vinegar, bleach and a bucket. I'm jolly glad I've raised their charges earlier than anyone else, they deserve it. *yuk*
Library visited, dog to vet, £££ decluttered on routine and preventative stuff, raced to Sainsbobs to restock on AF beer, raced home thinking we were off to the cinema only to discover it's tomorrow, not tonight. Hurrah! Am now going to allow myself a good long soak in a hot bath with a cup of tea, some malte$er$ and a book, before I cook supper. There are some advantages to not having kids.Better is good enough.0 -

HI all
I was full of good intentions to stick to the bathroom list today, but suddenly realised that DS had a friend coming after school so switched my attention to the downstairs - more pressing!
[STRIKE]Living room tidied
Dining room tidied and table cleared
Kitchen tidied
DW x2
Hall tidied
Stairs decluttered
Downstairs hoovered through
DD Painting activity done then cleared away
Tea cooked, eaten, cleared away
Children in bed![/STRIKE]
A miracle, I feel like I've achieved something!
Now decluttering a few work tasks and then a glass of wine. I might even pop to the corner shop for some celebratory crisps. Then I will plan my task list for tomorrow.0 -
WM2 on as DS3 needs his PE kit
Nothing else much to report apart from it's cold. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dusty Agree, it's cold! I would have liked to potter around the garden, but there's only a short time that it gets sun this time of year, I missed my chance!
Whisked quickly into town after coffee to buy ribbon and a few buttons to finish the doll's clothes I knitted, should be ready to post on Wednesday.
Quiet afternoon on the sofa. Although I did take out some more of my knitting stash. A little embarrassed about the number of knitted items that I have failed to sew up.Resolution here for the next couple of weeks I think.
Hugs, sticks and spoons as needed. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Didn't do very well last week so this week I need to be great!! Have a great week. Xx
