First time I've been able to get on this morning. DD1 has just left for her driving test _pale_
Haven't done much this this morning (when do I ever? :rotfl:) DD1 need to collect money from my mum and then have a lift to collect something she wanted to buy via fb. Of course the Tom Tom died on the way there so had to use some app on DD1's phone. I am now slightly worried about our trip at the weekend (taking DD2 to see Diversity with her friend, DD1 & boyfriend) I was worried about the driving, never driven to the o2 arena and if the Tom Tom dies I'm stuffed. The cigarette lighter in this car doesn't work so can't charge it in there
Anyway, WM on - dog bedding, DW waiting to be unloaded, cat litter changed. I'm just going to squirt some stuff down the toilet before I walk into the village to get money out for DD1 who forgot and will need to pay her instructor when she gets back.

OH was supposed to be out from about 10.45 and did, indeed, actually leave the house. And then came back unexpectedly and found the pile of gibble I had got down from the attic. Utterly predictable 'discussion' had.
The suitcase has left the building.Better is good enough.0 -

good luck to your dd Wendy witch!
morning all! (only just still morning eek!) Have done a PO run today as I sold another sling - kerching! Went to the french cafe with dd2 for a coffee and croissant nom nom and now just having a cuppa and sandwich while I catch up with the thread. dd2 has her 2 yr old check with the HV at 2, so I've got to see if she can draw a straight line amongst other daft tasks  basically the child is a genius so its a bit silly really - and I say that from a completely unbiased position
Have put all the washing away this morning, and sorted a bag for the charity shop - all the envelope neck vests have gone very stretched and off the shoulder after 3 childrens use and a bit stained, so they can put them for rags - for some reason I had hundreds - long sleeved, short sleeved, no sleeves
THe weekend was surprisingly productive despite me and DH having zero energy. We're having a party for the neighbours next weekend so we've been clearing out the front room (RoD), so it now looks a lot better, just needs cleaning and the lego and sewing things putting away.
DH wants to move back into our bedroom now that dd2 is sleeping a bit better and spending much of the night in her cot. We're planning a shuffle round of the children in the summer so we need to get her sleeping in her own bed well by then, and ds doesn't want daddy in his room any more  all this is well and good, but a few months ago the council installed new LED street lights in our road. Great! Except they are as bright as the midday sun. So DH claims he can't sleep properly in our room at the front of the house because of the light creeping in around the blackout curtains. After much hoo ha and discussion we are going to put in Roman blinds into the recesses to block it out. Problems being 1) its a bay window :groan: 2) its a Crittall steel framed single glazed window in a cold damp house so the windows literally run with condensation. I can make the Roman blinds, but as it is I don't have time to do the sewing I enjoy and I HATE making curtains and the like. SO I'm going to spend twice the money and get them made to measure  AND buy a dehumidifier.
I've jsut realised that I've got no uniform clean for tomorrow so that is a top priority today!0 -

I feel your pain.. World of Warcraft - Warlords of Draenor!!!
The way we tend to do pc gaming is both sit in front of the pc and take turns at "driving" iyswim.:o He takes over when my paws seize up with the arthritis.:A
OK, Flying.... I'm in as far as brainfog and extreme fatigue will allow. If anyone has any spare spoons, chuck 'em over here please. Even a tiddly-widdly little salt spoon would help.:o
Bathroom all done already - I really struggle with that now, so we did it between us at the weekend; and I've done a fair bit of the kitchen today.
Vacuuming postponed til tomorrow afternoon as Ted really loathes the vacuum, and gets really stressed, even if he's out in the garden.
Whatever else doesn't get done, I must give Ted a good brush so that he's all smart and handsome for his trip home tomorrow.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi, Can i join please?
Need to get my house back under control! I went back to work full time after mat leave earlier this year and didnt have anyone to take over the Brownies so had that and my District Commissioner role....Safe to say the house suffered and is now a tip!!
I have found a new leader so I am now only an assistant leader and I have resigned my DC role. Things seem much more manageable now.
WM was on this morning before I left for work and hung up and the DW was emptied too.
Will tackle the list after dinner tonight, I want to try and give myself at least 30 mins a day (evening) to teach myself to crochet.
Will update how I get on later
Thanks :j0
