Hi all,
I'm up to 5 NSDs and 4 in a row. I better go have a rest after that excitment:D. I'm going shopping today with Mum and sisters for the upcoming brussel sprout festival so it will not be an NSD and I think it could be a few days before another ventures into my path:o

the upcoming brussel sprout festival
That's a good one Munchin :rotfl::rotfl:
The front page is up to date,and we have a winner: Penguins86 is first past the post and has received the wondrous prize of a tropical island! :j:j:j
Well done there,young Penguins86!Are you going to increase your target?
Thanks nargle for the updates.It has helped me no end.I should manage to keep up now,though maybe not on Monday.That's the big move.The removers have already taken about half the belongings from my flat,and I still have a lot to pack.I also have a neighbour who is leaving the country and I've bought a lot of her furniture,which will also be taken on Monday.Then there's the cellar,which is full to bursting (I've made a start)...:(0 -
So,the challenge this month taking place on a lovely tropical island,surrounded by powerful jungle juice,palm trees,sun loungers,a few folk wincing from being a bit sunburnt...lots of tropical fish and the odd shark (just hang on,I'm getting there...),it occured to me the other day that there is indeed some room for humour,in the form of the following film:
Has it ever occured to anyone how this film,which let's face it,strikes fear into the hearts of man and beast (Hubert mainly),is translated into other languages?
This is the film that scared the pants off the French:
The title translates as 'The Teeth of the Sea'!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now,is that scary?!
And,just in time for the 'brussel sprouts festival':
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

...and for your term "brussel sprout festival" your prize is.....wait for it......a year's supply of Igor's signature dish, the Brussels Sprout Curry. With an extra bit of tinsel on the top.
Enjoy!!!!One life - your life - live it!0 -
It was a pleasure, marmite. Love the sea turkey poster.
Igor, don't forget our neighbours, the ones with the grass skirts and the bones through their noses. They must be due another dose of anaesthetic agent aka your jungle juice cocktail - if they miss it and start coming round again, they might just invite us to dinner - and not in the way you think!
Whaddya mean, you can't make any more because you've run out of bongo-bongo fruit??????
Improvise, you idiot, improvise - the situation could get rather serious........One life - your life - live it!0 -
Igor there is a whole box of Dragon Fruit round the back of the bar - use that!!Must use my stash up!0
