Number 4 NSD arrives safely, pulls up a deckchair, pours himself a gin and tonic, then remembers that we got a substitute for the Cauldron of Doom (that Somebody Who Shall Be Nameless, Igor, left at home) so downs his G&T in one and takes a dive into said cauldron.

Hmmm, Igor, I see that Knitwitch's suggestion of using the dragon fruit has worked, those nice chappies are fast asleep now, snoring and breathing out flames....pass me the bread and the toasting fork, I fancy some toast.......

Oh Nargleblast - thank you so much it is an honour but I really don't want to put Igor to all that trouble and it would be greedy of me to take them all so maybe we could share them with everyone on this thread :D

So very kind munchin but I think I will pass. Could end up with a hurricane on our tropical island with all those sprouts :D

  • NSD 7 yesterday and 4-in-a-row.

I was planning on going out for a drink or two today and then to a party tonight but I've been ill since Wednesday with a sore throat/cold thing and its not got any better so think I'll just stay in all weekend and hibernate, as I need to recover before next Thursday when I fly to Amsterdam for a few days!

A bit of a boring weekend on my own feeling ill then, but it should rack me up an extra NSD at least!
    Starting 2016 debt-free :D

  • NSD number 8 yesterday... and that included work party. Great times sweet-talking the boss into buying rounds of drinks. Hee hee :D

  • No NSD for me yesterday sadly. I got fed up of buying gifts for other people so we went to see The Hobbit.

Today maybe the same, hopefully next weekend I'll be celebrating 4 in row rather than a 3 in a row.

Igor there is a whole box of Dragon Fruit round the back of the bar - use that!!

Err Nargle I'm fairly sure based on my travels that dragon fruit shouldn't be quite that scaley nor breathing fire

Am not doing well at all this month, the early food shop seems to be going down rather quickly and I keep topping it up, thus grocery budget totally blown.

Bought OH an xmas present, not cheap, box arrived all damaged and one was totally diff to the other. Went back immediately. Now in the sale and none in his size  ordered something similar but different from elsewhere, hope they are as nice. Really haven't got my head around what I'm getting him this year. :(
