Bank Of Scotland and Lloyds ?

Lloyds and Halifax branches have the same systems but that's all, they don't have access to each other's information.
A Lloyds customer cannot deposit or enquire on their account in Halifax and viceversa, however a BOS customer can in Halifax.
Also Halifax/BoS have the same banking licence.0 -

The Halifax staff implied it was a policy rather than a systems issue.
The Halifax branches still appear to be very quiet - it probably doesn't help that people with mixed products will default to BOS as they will service both brands.I find that hard to believe as the Halifax branches would surely have the same systems as their branches in England/Wales/NIThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. You still can't use them.
I don't knkw why you'd need to use them anyway, there's plenty of BoS branches in Scotland.DEBT FREE!

The other day I couldn't get in to my Intelligent Finance Account.
They had to send me a new activation code. Today I tried to get in to my account. Again it showed that my account was blocked.
I rang them up. Oh, I was supposed to ringthem for them to activate the account.
It is not highlighted or underlined that I must call them.
I would say that most people would look at the security code and then log on online.
This is what I do with Natwest.
Now the only way to email them is to be online. Intelligent Finance/Lloyds buck your ideas up.0 -

do you mean that?
there are Halifax branches on New George Street and Mutley Plain, both Plymouth. i don't think there should be much you can't do via those branches. Forget Lloyds...but Halifax Bank of Scotland are more closely integrated. (i have a Halifax employee here)0 -

I'm almost certain that the Halifax branch in Glasgow is across the street from a BoS branch. Hence why it won't co-service.DEBT FREE!
