I just did my first ever online grocery shop with Tesco I thought I would try the cheese well it partially worked but not as it should have I bought 4 kg of Tesco Everyday Value Mature Cheddar @ £5 a pop = £20 plus 4 packs of 4 branston beans half price @ £1.27 a pop = £5.08 I hope I don't die of a fart attack total £25.08 plus £2 delivery charge giving a total of £27.08 - £10 via codes =£17.08 it wouldn't except the finest code so the although pleased with a £10 saving what did I do wrong?

Its arrived my first ever online grocery order
Well it was an experiment now what do I do with 4 Kilo's of cheese Lol

You possibly bought the wrong cheese. Others have been buying either anchor or this one

I could not get the anchor to work, but did get the Tesco British Mature Cheddar to work.

    Evening everyone :)

Sorry to hear your shop didn't work elliejay - think you have been unlucky :(

Hope we can help make up for it on another glitch soon.

For anyone else still with unused codes and wanting cheap cheese, it may be worth waiting till Tues pm for the next order as the new round of dairy discounts will come online and hopefully other items will go into basket full price but be half price/be on offer next day. Some of the Pilgrims and Cathedral City blocks look hopeful. And at some point around this time last year the bigger Xmas cheese selections came online, including the gift sets with wine/port, and I think the mocs worked on those last year (and some at half-price too!).

Does anything else work for the T dairy codes apart from Cheese. Any yogurts, milk etc etc? Please.

    tia :)

    Evening elite :)
I've popped on while I'm at work for a bit of an elite hug :( I'm writing this while blubbing and balling my eyes out :(
I've just had my head bitten off by a colleague who after asking if they were alright (a rather short 'yes I'm fine was the reply') I asked if they were sure they were alright'. I got my head bitten off because apparently they didn't like being interrogated as soon as they'd walked in the door.

I'll point out now that my personality at work, I usually try to be as bright and happy as possible, I chat to everybody and say hello to as many people as I can (even the miserable ones), if you think of what a Tigger is usually like that's me for most of the working day :D

I've no idea what's going on in this persons life, they're usually generally grumpy and I had a run in with them a few weeks ago when they told me not to talk to them for the first part of the shift (not really that easy!)
I just feel I can't work with this person any more.
I'm meant to pass over a list of everything I've done and everything that needs doing when they walk in the door but that's virtually impossible.
We're meant to work as a team but I'm beginning to get sick of clearing up the mess other people don't bother finishing or don't do because they can't/don't want to.

They may have stuff going on at home, I do too! I had very little sleep over night as one of my children was waking up screaming (last time I looked at the clock was 1am) I've had a child throwing up all morning to worry about. I have a million other things going on at the moment and I know I'm generally run down (DH kept asking me if I has alright as I was unusually quiet) I acknowledged to DH earlier that I'm not myself at the moment.
But work pay (not a massive amount) me to do a job so that's why I slap a smile on my face and do it.

(Yes I know most of my work rant probably describes every workplace that exists, at least I know I'm not alone :D )

Thank you for listening to me :) I feel a heck of a lot better :)
I'm still blubbing but I'm smiling!
