Thank you, but Im really not bothered. If I made someone uncomfortable with my posts then Im doing my job correctly
I would love the person who reported that post to be up front and honest enough to tell me what I did wrongthat's what I can't stand, if I've ever offended someone, Id put it right

Evening elite
I've popped on while I'm at work for a bit of an elite hugI'm writing this while blubbing and balling my eyes out
I've just had my head bitten off by a colleague who after asking if they were alright (a rather short 'yes I'm fine was the reply') I asked if they were sure they were alright'. I got my head bitten off because apparently they didn't like being interrogated as soon as they'd walked in the door.
I'll point out now that my personality at work, I usually try to be as bright and happy as possible, I chat to everybody and say hello to as many people as I can (even the miserable ones), if you think of what a Tigger is usually like that's me for most of the working day
I've no idea what's going on in this persons life, they're usually generally grumpy and I had a run in with them a few weeks ago when they told me not to talk to them for the first part of the shift (not really that easy!)
I just feel I can't work with this person any more.
I'm meant to pass over a list of everything I've done and everything that needs doing when they walk in the door but that's virtually impossible.
We're meant to work as a team but I'm beginning to get sick of clearing up the mess other people don't bother finishing or don't do because they can't/don't want to.
They may have stuff going on at home, I do too! I had very little sleep over night as one of my children was waking up screaming (last time I looked at the clock was 1am) I've had a child throwing up all morning to worry about. I have a million other things going on at the moment and I know I'm generally run down (DH kept asking me if I has alright as I was unusually quiet) I acknowledged to DH earlier that I'm not myself at the moment.
But work pay (not a massive amount) me to do a job so that's why I slap a smile on my face and do it.
(Yes I know most of my work rant probably describes every workplace that exists, at least I know I'm not alone)
Thank you for listening to meI feel a heck of a lot better
I'm still blubbing but I'm smiling!
Oh dipdap have a big hug from me.
Not everyone is easy to work with at the best of times:(
To ask you not to talk to them for first part of shift is down right rude.
Nice of you to ask them considering the way you are feeling and the crappy time you have had.
Resolve to no longer ask them and just be your professional self.
Yes likely they are not alright but neither are you by the sounds of it. If it happens again I would be inclined to report their 'Lack of communication' to your line manager.
Belated birthday wishes to TM and Saver sue hope you both enjoyed your days.
Dad is still in hospital while they decide if he needs next transfusion. He had blood tests this morning but it is weekend so not expecting his release until tomorrow afternoon. He is on a nice shiny newish ward and was subjected to watching Strictly last night. Sister says while he has something to moan about she is not too worried about him. Hospital brings it's own problems, his bed is too far away from toilet so unable to be as independent as he is in care home.
All being well I am going up on 30th Nov ready for dad's birthday on 1st Dec. I am then needed by dd to help with childcare from the Wednesday evening to Friday morning so just going to stay up there for the duration. Will reduce driving and general stress.
I have been shortening my thermal linings for patio door curtains and hung first one tonight. Think it was Arthien was asking about liners for ring top curtains. These next ones are great and you can't see the clear rings as sit behind the curtain rings.

I have nothing to be jealous of zippyyes we do have money but we don't have the things that people love. i can't go anywhere with my husband, my kids miss out on so much.....we don't have anything near a normal life. So why would someone be so nasty?

FC & dipdap, try not to let the drongos (exchange for whatever word you prefer) get you down, you both know you're better than they are.

if I get PPRd for doing so, I will see you on the other side
Whoever reported this......hang your head in shame and get a mirror to have a good look at yourself.......see you on the other side folks
Hi fairclaire. We can't keep requesting you to tone down your posts on a family Forum even if it's a quote without making clear you are placing your own posting privileges in danger. Please stop making these inappropriate posts. (QUOTE: 'If I get through the next 3 weeks, I'll be wanting a medal DS2 is sucked in already
The following took place to the background sound of very loud pringles munching .......
Half an hours explanation from me about who Hugh Hefner is and him repeatedly saying......'but what does he actually do?'
'Well American women are stupid I think' Bodes well for my impending dinner party
'The men are very wimpy this year' (although he does like Michael Beurke)
'that large woman should wear waterproof make up'
'Mel Sykes is my kind of woman, not afraid to get in there' (he's only 13 he shouldn't have a type of woman )
The eating trials should be fun seeing as the words 'penis' and 'anus' send him into uncontrollable fits of giggles
I need a glitch on pringles and maybe a new Hoover after looking at the rug where he's been sat')
Do you think some one might be actually changing your posts before reporting them. Still not seen anything offensive:(
Surely they can see that posts are only upsetting one member enough to report ( and their AE of course).
If by the other side you mean our little downtime emergency elite open members club then will see you there if things get bad.
I really think mse should be looking into this reporting problem as it is another form of cyber bullying and the already have a large case of that from a couple of weeks ago.
I just don't understand it. If it happened to me it would cause severe consequences which i would be in danger from.
Big hugs
