I have been putting that off.
It is such a enormous task getting it all out from the back of my hall cupboard upstairs, sort of wishing I had an inventory.
I usually get moaned at whenever I disappear in there as no one can get in and out of the bedrooms upstairs as I cover the landing floor. Really hoping I use loads of my stash this year, I still have back log of things I got for my mum to give people.
Hi Tiny, I've the Christmas gift app which has been a godsend as I have a list of pressies against each person that I can check wherever I am. I can look at last years presents too as I got it last year and it lets you archive previous years. It's the app with Father Christmas icon, cost 69p. I wish they'd remove those £7 r'back Finish tablets from the APG voucher page. Using up valuable printer ink. I wondered if they are there for the few normal shoppers that check the APG, to try to get them to buy them next time and lose out all the APG then as even more expensive elsewhere. Apparently the Lemon version of the tablets (56 pack) isn't 10% cheaper than Morries. The Regular version [Strike]£16:eek:[/Strike] (prices according to msm.co.uk, all of them including £7 far too expensive for me to know). Apparently £7 M on both of them but beware - I'm sure I saw msm at £16 when I started writing this post, but seems to have updated as I speak, so maybe M has put the price down today to match but the prices on the APG will be from Wednesday therefore, probably, £16!
The 56 tablets for £7 does seem to be expensive, as they (or a very similar size) have gone down to £6 elsewhere a few years ago. And there were then packs with "100% extra free" available at £6, so that really does seem an overcharge as £3 for 56. In short, making £7 for 56, IMO, a very poor deal.
Evangeline, which dishwasher tablets work out better price? These 56 at £7 or the ones you got on that morning recently?
In the past, 12.5p/tablet would have been my guide price(). That does seem to be the general 'low' that all the supermarkets go down to. Coincidentally:rotfl:. However, there are better prices than that that are available elsewhere. Supermarkets are not always the cheapest (unless you manage to get in on one specific morning very quickly:D). The price of dishwasher tablets ordinarily is very expensive. I know there have been RTCs on other ones - and C&Cs - and far better than the highly promoted expensive £7 r'back offer.
Otherwise, the price of dishwasher tablets does seem to have been generally more expensive this year. In fact I remember msm saying some time ago that the price of dishwasher tablets this year has been much more expensive than it was last year: http://news.mysupermarket.co.uk/category/all/ ("Finish All in 1 Powerball Dishwasher Tablets (52) were on average 21% more expensive in 2014!" (original emphasis.)) Yet again, my perception is in accordance with reality unlike it seems most people's!:rotfl: I think we need to avoid these average prices lol:rotfl:. And, as the "savvy" buys are based on them, therefore probably continue to avoid a lot of those as well, as too expensive for this savvy customer!0 -

"...but who wants to make Christmas pudding in April?":rotfl:
Yes, I do:rotfl::rotfl:! So, there we are, that's the money-saving tip of the year:rotfl:. Can't beat them any other way:(.0
