More than 10% cheaper. Of course.

I am left with nothing, as the shoppers pick up the expensive mbuy juices and the Tango 2L at £1, which they (presumably) think is a good price:(.

4 x ASDA Chosen by You Pure Smooth Orange Juice from C...£3.00:mad:£3.50
    1 x ASDA Shades Softest Ever White Toilet Paper - 220 ...£4.50N/A
    1 x ASDA Green Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.50N/A
    1 x Mikado - Lu Milk Chocolate (75g)£1.00£1.39
    1 x Mikado - Lu Daim (75g)£1.00N/A
1 x Hello Kitty Mini Roll Snack (3x30g)£1.00N/A
    1 x Petits Filous Fromage Frais - Strawberry Raspberry...£2.00N/A
    1 x Maltesers Treat Bag (88g)£0.99N/A
2 x Princes Original Hot Dogs in Brine (6 per pack - 4...£1.00N/A
    1 x KP Nik Naks - Nice N' Spicy (6x25g)£1.00N/A
1 x Walkers Mega Monster Munch - Pickled Onion (6x22g)£1.68£1.68
    1 x Bass Traditional Draught Ale (4x500ml)£4.50£4.50
    1 x Warburtons Crumpets (9)£1.00£1.00
    1 x Tango Orange (2L)£1.00:mad:£1.98

The one that made me laugh in Morries on Wednesday was the Maltesers 'Fun'size. Although actually mine was certainly more fun than their small "treat" bag as mine was over twice the weight and worked out at 9p less than they paid.

These were £1 each for all of one or two days in M. Then they seemed either to be full price (£2.79:eek:) or £1.50 red border offer label, depending on which store you visited, in other words a price increase of 50p.

I did have a laugh at the current pricing - £2.79 (apparently) or - wait for it - 2 for £5:rotfl::rotfl:. You can bet that some people will pick up 2 bags and pay £5:rotfl:. Having them to buy twice as much merely in order to "save" 29p on a bag. In other words, paying £2.50:eek::eek: for each one instead of £1 or 90p.()

It doesn't matter what "offer" (or non-offer in the case of a 2 for £5 here) they put on it, many people will go for it.

It's now well on the run-up to Christmas. I've decided that everything is too expensive to be purchasing at the moment as retailers are taking advantage of the greater number of shoppers buying things for Christmas, so that they can increase the prices rocket up, and therefore I'm not buying anything until after Christmas:money:. There is certainly no element of Santa to me to any of the prices (outside of the supermarkets too) and seems to me to be Scrooge-like in their prices, grabbing as much money as they can for themselves (which  is, of course, their business).

Meanwhile - back to this shop - the Monster Munch at £1.68:rotfl:. There are still, in some M stores, a few of the Bacon Web(?) or, I forget which other one, versions on RTC at 84p:eek:(:rotfl:) - same price as they were when they were on offer earlier - don't think they'll compare, they were available before anyway, different ones, a few kicking around in different stores, and 84p not good enough for me.
