Notes to self for the use of the new feezer.

    1) Always make sure opened bags of peas, sweetcorn etc are closed properly before putting back in the freezer

    2) Label anything that has been taken out of its original wrapper, so I will know what it is in a few months time.

    3) Ensure that everything is crop rotated and that new purchases are not just put on top of older items.

    4) Do not buy anything else to go in the freezer until it is at least half emptied.

Does anyone have any more suggestions, for keeping the contents of a freezer in good order?:)

I've just found some great bags in T, they have write on sections where you can put what is in them and the date, they are the tie handle food and freezer bags. Not cheap but worth it. I also have big bags in there, separate ones for fruit and veg which helps contain it, and meat/ready meals are at one side.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Time for a coffee and a quick smoke (filthy habit) I'm getting better at vaping now though and nicotine free ejuice :D
But must have the real thing right now :o
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Thanks altojack for this afternoons entertainment :D:T

Went for a jog earlier - remember I don't do running - just to see, not sure what on earth possessed me but went for 2 1/2 miles @ 8:36/ mile pace and when I got back home, I just felt like I could go on and on. Now I have the bizarre idea in my head that I could do the Great North Run next year!

    Talk me out of it.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
