Glitch on milk (not available to Northern Ireland)!:D Hardly any good though as Semi-Skimmed returning just 1p lower for M:( - always a really expensive price per pint on these 2 pint versions. I didn't notice whether M was 1p lower on the semi-skimmed as very expensive way of getting milk in any event.
Got one now with the 500g Crunchy Nut Cornflakes on it - they like going for these smaller packs of cereal that cost them more than the larger packs don't they? 750g currently vs T at £1.57:rotfl:. Waities on 2 for '1' but won't work as diff. prices in the offer.
I thought about these small 500g packs the other week. They're on the aisle end in my store(). Sure way to get people confused into buying a smaller pack as, although 750g has gone down to low of £1.50 in A (never 10% cheaper:rotfl:), it's more usually at £2 when it's on r'back. So, maybe people see £2 sometimes - which looks good to Mr A shoppers who perhaps see regular A pricing and regular £1 r'back pricing and think those are good prices when they don't shop anywhere else and thus have no idea that items are quite regularly on lower 'half prices' elsewhere than what the usual A low is. People may see £2 and associate the price with the product and not think that it is a smaller size! I also noticed T putting an "offer" of, very strangely, 74p on some 500ml Robinsons juice recently. Strange how the 'good' offers on the 1L juices, when they are at their 'best' price, are exactly the same 74p price. At least one or two people might get confused and end up buying a much smaller product for what is, for that size, a very expensive price.
Oh, the Cadbury's Twinpots:(:( - I could see that one in advance from a mile away:mad:! Also not happy that one of the few mbuys they got on the receipt (the Pastrami and the Ham) ensures comparisons to much more expensive prices at M:(.

Six pack crisps at full price £1.68:rotfl:. I wouldn't even pay a third of that for that few crisps. I'd expect in excess of 26 packs of significant volume Crisps at that price (of course, my expectation may be just a little bit unrealistic:rotfl:). Full price crisps (not on offer elsewhere) and small packets of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes - they really know how to pay too much for not very much don't they and obviously have money to spend, in other words waste? Still appear not to be identifying the Broccoli Crown in M (at £1.39/kg) as being loose broccoli, unless they have it in none of their six M stores! I note Dr Oetker pizzas bought, but no MOCs of any kind used against the bill - where do I get these members of the public?:rotfl:
As for the biscuits for cheese - I dare not work out what price per unit they paid at £2.50 on their shop! - I'm still waiting for the Jacobs to go down to 40p/100g - no luck yet, M's offers this year, at best, have been nowhere near! They did have 40p/100g last year, that's my guide, and I'm afraid 80p/100g 'special' offers (yes, "offers" that are twice the price I'd even consider comparing against:eek:) that I've seen lately are no good whatsoever for me - or for the Elite in my view!0 -
This freezer sounds good.
Ice King CFAP300 Chest Freezer, it uses a freezer guard system, making it suitable to be used in ambient temperatures down to – 15 degrees, making this garage or out building safe.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
It's so nice to receive them when you don't get many cards or phone calls in RL, so thank you for helping to make my day.
Off to Mum's shortly and will probably be there for the rest of the day as she will try and spoil me
Also sending birthday wishes to TM.0 -

O No !!!! That's a catastropheI'm terrible at watching things live ! I like to look at the commentary on espn then watch it once I know the result. I genuinely feel sick. He so deserves this championship.

Lots of reading to do I see, playing beauticians when I clear up lunch things.
Seems that dgd found a stash of lotion n potions and make-up bits hence her choice of play for today.
Grandad does not want his nails painted pink (or any other colour was his response) :rotfl: :rotfl:There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I have a fridge freezer and freezer in the shed, *touch wood* always been ok even in really cold and really hot weather, chest freezer is at least 12-13 yr old and they are just any old freezer:D
I have one about the same age and it's in the garage. Never had any problems with it being outside. I have a newer one in there as well but we haven't had a really cold winter since I got the newer one.0
