    I don't know why all cars are not fitted with a breathalyzer. You breath into it , if you have had any alcohol the car doesn't start. How is that not the answer?

    I'm sure that'd be capable of abuse though. Get your brother or someone else to breathe into the system, start the car but then they leave and you drive the car. I don't know why they can't build cars that only go up to a maximum 70 mph.

    Fwiw, I've long thought that they should have an, in effect, zero limit but with a tolerance to allow for a tiny amount of alcohol from use of a mouthwash etc. If you drink, you shouldn't drive. That 'limit' (of a tiny amount to allow for mouthwash) is in effect what I follow in practice - either totally nothing or I may have very rarely used a mouthwash - and I would hope that all good people would be doing the same (though I suspect I'm being extremely naive about that:o - though, as I recognise the potential naivety of it, it therefore is awareness of it and therefore not naive!).

    Get back to your lists savvy and put the price for the princes pies right:rotfl::rotfl:

    :eek::idea:Oh, does take mean an alert about an Asda price change of which, one minute ago, I was totally unaware. Is this another item that I could be buying in Sains next week:D? (Even if 'losing' a 10p or so, but paying with the points.)

    I'll go and have a look now. If, instead, this has gone onto mbuy, then why did no-one buy them on that but immediately before the mbuy reached msm and compare vs M? Maybe they did - and that was another that I wasn't alerted about at the time and knew nothing of:rotfl::(:rotfl:.

    :(R'back (to £1.25 this time) having rolled forward to £2 and then back not quite as much as it went forward. Were £1 before. Seems they are playing the Sains (and now also the Morrisons) game of not quite matching the prices of a competitor on the shelf price but just bringing it back just enough, whilst still being significantly more expensive, seemingly to allow other items in a basket to offset the now bit lower difference refund otherwise due and result in no return on price promises, even if they were (in the case of the APG) checked, in the case of many muggles shops as the reduction in price to not quite match increases the likelihood of that lower (but, importantly, existing) difference being offset and losing any refund voucher.

    I noticed an item in M on Wednesday (and even before then) that had already been reduced quite down at a competitor - in fact I now remember it's the Crisp n Dry 2L Veg. Oil - on which M had reduced the price. A at £2, M was £3.59, now - not quite matching the price but brought it down to £2.50, so still more expensive but that 50p more likely to be offset and lost completely by something else in an ordinary customer's basket than a £1.59. Whereas a £1.59 might have been offset but still resulted in a 10p of points:(. Again, it's a win-win for the stores and they have still charged £2.50 for buying the product (which can be seen as an overcharge compared to the price that it is available for elsewhere) and not given any price match for it if you happen (you won't:D) to have bought something else that lost the amount. Much easier (especially for the ordinary person) to lose a smaller difference amount.

    I note T now showing £2 for the Crisp n Dry 2L again on msm - so that that is now apparently Avs T once more, if not now, then probably through to the APG system tomorrow.

    Still, I suppose the Princes Pies being at £1.25 makes them less risky on the APG (as not risking losing as much as difference and 10% between £2 and £1) - however it now makes them more likely to be bought and therefore to be giving A a further 35p a tin if one (or other) of them bought doesn't work, when before you may have given them nothing at all as may not have risked buying them at £2. It otherwise also doesn't help (if they do work) if you have a voucher amount of spend to reach - as now having to find 75p of items that you wouldn't otherwise have had to buy to reach that and most likely getting less APG amount back (£1.25 vs £1 instead of £2 vs £1):(.

    But there are "follow this thread" notifications by other websites aren't there? That alert you every time something is posted. Obviously, that wouldn't be practicable here, as you'd be sent an email (or a PM) every two or five minutes at some times, and still have the same issue about keeping up with the thread on top, but I don't see why it couldn't be worked into a system to identify when a new post is by a specific poster. That said it could be abused and used for harassment:eek::(. But I don't see why it is not technically possible. Or there is an alternative - PM me every time you post:D:rotfl:. And that goes for you, SFSB as well:rotfl:.

    Actually it's only new glitches that I'd particularly want to be PM'd about. Please can you put the entire details in the PM (or else a one-click link that goes directly to the relevant post):rotfl:, as I may still be otherwise having to wade through the thread to find the relevant post and - yes, I'm lazy and want everything to be done for me:p.

    Ok Savvy I'll PM you if I find any exciting glitches that make stuff free or almost free :D I know you don't like to pay much more than almost free so won't be interested in anything other than that ;) :rotfl:

    I don't know if we are on the Wednesday price collection information yet, but we must, surely(?), be on it by now as we're now on Friday (and end of working day) - on that basis, I've now put everything back to 'normal' on the M list, the previously bold items have sunk back into the list and I've removed crossed-off ones, other than those that stick around to allow me to keep tracking them. Everything back again, probably annoyingly for some people as you can't now see what is (or was) new, but you did have a chance.

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    I did mention the Duck Fresh discs on my list as apparently being 2p in A quite a while ago (of course never available in my stores at those prices:rotfl:) so that they now look pretty expensive vs a straight £1.75 at M (to think, I used to think a comparison vs £2 on them was a good price:eek:). I hope those Ben and Jerry's are on a missing mbuy in M - they often compare v. good on wombles as it is! Avoid Minter Wonderland (or whatever captive marketing term they've used) if this is vs M as that one is very likely N/A.

    Anything else, on my 'too expensive' prices, ah yes, the increases on S/P Mushy Peas and S/P Custard sachets and the like that I have already mentioned - and let's not forget the Batter Mix and even the 17p water that used to be 14p. And the 24p S/P soups (I think Chicken might still be an N/A vs M) that were 17p - the list goes on:(.

    No, please alert me to any glitches, not just the "almost free" ones - though I defintely want the "better than free":D:j - as I wouldn't ever want to miss on a money-saving opportunity full stop.

    Which exact combinations of Ben and Jerry's do we need to buy? (Yes, I do want everything doing for me:rotfl:.)
