My eyesight story is a long one:rotfl:

When I was 14 we had learnt to make flaky pastry at school. My Mum asked me to make sausage rolls while she was at work.

The shilling had run out on the gas so I got on my pushbike to go to the shop clutching 2 sixpences in my hand.

I rode into a dustcart and went over the handlebars and smashed my face up.
Spent ages looking for the money in the road but couldn't find it so tried to get back on the bike but the front wheels were buckled.

I went back home and looked in the mirror and had a fright so i went to my aunts house who lived round the corner. She took me to the hospital.
My Mum when she got home found a gas man taking the gas stove to bits. She thought that I had blown myself up.
He had come to the wrong house.

It was after me trying to watch the telly at 12 inches because my left eye had swollen shut that they decided I needed my eyes tested. My Dad was on a fishing holiday at the time.He said that he knew something would happen while he was away.

I had six weeks off school and missed all the algebra lessons and still don't understand it.:rotfl:

 :rotfl::rotfl: That has got to be the best excuse for being rubbish at algebra that I have ever heard :D :rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for sharing that :D I love the random gas man part :rotfl:

Not happy, I went to my stock to find I am now using my last ever bar of "Simple" soap, stockpiled when DTD was limited to £20, how long ago was that ? Stebiz would know.

    24 March 2011.

I claimed my last £100 one on the morning of 24 March 2011 from a shop done on 23 March 2011. All shops done on 24 March 2011 and after were capped at £20.

Had a serious problem with the trouts trying to spend that £100 one.

I still have an unopened bottle of the £30 Courvoisier Cognac in the cupboard and a lamb rack or two hiding in the freezer.

No you're not bonkers, I think they're lovely as well, unless that makes me bonkers as well-

Sorry to hear of your eye problems fc, hopefully with having your eyes tested and now on treatment things will improve-:)
Perhaps its your Scandinavian blood that has accentuated the problem:rotfl:!!!!!
