Afternoon all.Morning All,
Went to London Yesterday expecting the worst at the meeting, then to be told by my line Manager he is leaving. Couldn't believe it. But that means I have now been promoted and will be sales and commercial controller OMG busy times ahead.
Hope all are well x
:j:j Congratulations on the promotion. :j:jrhosynbach wrote: »may have done something daft:o:o:o oh was looking at a horse trap on ebay everyday for the last week , me and ds2 said we did not need another one but he really wanted it , I noticed it was going this morning so put a low bid on then I could say , well I tried to buy it
;) and earn brownie points
but I only won the blinking thing.:eek:Now how am I going to get it under the christmas tree :rotfl::rotfl:
Have fun, hiding that one :rotfl::rotfl:fairclaire wrote: »It was picked up during a routine eye test at the opticians. Can't stress enough to people the importance of having these done. I am not noticing a loss of vision myself. There again I already knew I had stereo blindness (eyes not working properly together) this is due an op I had as a child to correct a squint. The squinty eye is lazy, so the other one works overtime to compensate. It's never caused me any problems other than not being able to see anything 3D.
Nearly drove myself insane in the 90s when those 3D pictures were all the rage :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry you didnt get the results you wanted.
I never could see those 3d pictures either, still cant :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I have done one of those photo-cards but now looking at flowers from Funky Pigeon and they seem expensive, Im worried about how long-lasting they'll be. I don't have a clue about this stuff. This is only the second time in my life I've ever had to buy flowers :rotfl:
this just reminded me.
dw and myself were in asda and there were reduced roses to 19p (yes 19p) dw said but one of them is dead don't get them
then I said but they are 19p throw the dead one away, she said oh yeah

Not happy, I went to my stock to find I am now using my last ever bar of "Simple" soap, stockpiled when DTD was limited to £20, how long ago was that ? Stebiz would know.0

didn't get the good news I hoped for at the hospital. Wasn't all bad though. My eye pressure is fine, so keep taking the drops. But the visual field test on my left eye showed a chunk of missing vision. I was half expecting it. When I had the test done the other day the nurse said my right eye looked fine but said nothing after she did my left one. So have to have a repeat test to make sure of an accurate result. Bummer
I did however get the same rather charming doc that I had last time
he was very keen to discuss the colour of my eyes last time and asked if I was of Scandinavian descent (how on earth do I know? :rotfl:) today we discussed eye make up :rotfl::rotfl: and how it was a myth that you shouldn't wear blue eye make up if you have blue eyes.
Supposed to be working this afternoon but I might sack it and wallow instead :rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry to hear you didn't get the results you were hoping for FC, hopefully the drops will help you:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
It's been constant
And the number of people who (claim to) have had their TVs delivered in pieces by drivers who were (allegedly) fully aware of the breakage before leaving the depot is shocking
I love reading the wall. No matter how bad life gets you can have a look at the Ts wall and be thankful that you're not the person who bought a bag of oranges only for one of them to go bad before the best before date. End of the world stuff!!

No no no no no :wall:
You can do better than that, zipster
You buy them and then return them a few days later as unsatisfactory (depending on how long it says that the quality is guaranteed for) :money:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

aldi or lidl were selling a stand for a drill to turn it into a pillar drill.
