PAH :( didn't get the good news I hoped for at the hospital. Wasn't all bad though. My eye pressure is fine, so keep taking the drops. But the visual field test on my left eye showed a chunk of missing vision. I was half expecting it. When I had the test done the other day the nurse said my right eye looked fine but said nothing after she did my left one. So have to have a repeat test to make sure of an accurate result. Bummer :(

I did however get the same rather charming doc that I had last time :D he was very keen to discuss the colour of my eyes last time and asked if I was of Scandinavian descent (how on earth do I know? :rotfl:) today we discussed eye make up :rotfl::rotfl: and how it was a myth that you shouldn't wear blue eye make up if you have blue eyes.

Supposed to be working this afternoon but I might sack it and wallow instead :rotfl::rotfl:

    Sorry about your eye results.
Keep putting the drops in.I've been using them for 13 years and have a large chunk of vision lost from my right eye but it's only in the last couple of years that i have really noticed it.

It is a good job that you realized something was wrong.
My drops have been changed 3 times during the 13 years.i have met several people at the eye clinic that have had an operation to correct the eye pressure but I don't fancy having it done:eek:

It was picked up during a routine eye test at the opticians. Can't stress enough to people the importance of having these done. I am not noticing a loss of vision myself. There again I already knew I had stereo blindness (eyes not working properly together) this is due an op I had as a child to correct a squint. The squinty eye is lazy, so the other one works overtime to compensate. It's never caused me any problems other than not being able to see anything 3D.
Nearly drove myself insane in the 90s when those 3D pictures were all the rage :rotfl::rotfl:

had the drink driver only had one pint then? if he had had several the limit would make no difference if he was over the limit anyway

On my way home from the pub the police stopped me I asked the officer why? He said because your car is going all over the road then he looked at me a little closer and he said your drunk I replied thank god for that I have an mot test in the morning I thought the steering had gone.
