    Morning

Such terrible news about Charlotte and baby, thinking about you QoC and your colleagues, you just cannot predict something like that happening :(

I think having a zero tolerance on alcohol and driving would not prevent accidents, some people are just reckless. I have been close to accidents several times because for some drivers 60mph on a windey country road just isn't fast enough, some people just don't respect the responsibility you have when you're in charge of a vehicle. I don't think half a glass of wine (or whatever the limit is) would effect that tbh

    Good morning

Looks like I'll be scrapping the cars this morning.

Time for a coffee and catch up see you later

Hi Chandler, not sure if you already have dealings with scrap cars or in what context you are scarpping cars so ignore me if thiis is not helpful.

We have scrapped a few cars in the past and I find it a bit of a nightmare ringing the often mobile numbers of scrap dealers and being given prices ranging from £35 to £75. The last couple of times I have used a company called cartakeback.com and they have been brilliant. You get a quote online which is normally approx double what the scrappers offer when you phone and you choose wether to drop the car off or have it collected. You lose about a tenner to have it collected but I usually take this option as it is much easier. They pay you by cheque unless you request the payment by bank transfer which ususally hits your account the next day. Ignore if I am way off track but may be useful for someone else :o

    Good morning everyone :)

Free £10 (no minimum spend) for Fragrance Shop is back on o2 Priority Moments (I say "back", it might have been there for weeks and this guy and I are late to the party :o)

ETA: is "this guy and I", right? If I wasn't including "this guy", I would say "I am" so I'm pretty sure this is right....it just reads a bit clumsy

  • Morning Elite,

Missed the water meter assessor by sleeping in this morning :( To be fair 8am is a little early in my books ;)

A soup offer now showing on MSM and now I'm trying relatively hard not to click buy on...

Interesting response to my post. To the casual observer it looks like you just sent me a text of your nozzle! :rotfl:

And yes, I received my text in the early hours  :p

Personally, I assumed it was a typo and that he was scraping the cars due to it being so cold

I don't know why all cars are not fitted with a breathalyzer. You breath into it , if you have had any alcohol the car doesn't start. How is that not the answer?

Yes what awonderful idea or make the penalties for drink driving very harsh i.e 5years disqualification /confiscation of vehicle or even prison
