I'm sure I've had walnut whips with a wallet inside

Maybe I've been eating rejects:oedit....leaving that in

Originally launched in 1910 by Duncan’s of Edinburgh, Walnut Whip is now produced by Nestle. It consists of hollow whirl-shaped milk chocolate cone filled with a delicious soft, marshmallow-like, whipped, vanilla fondant cream filling, topped with… a walnut! I’m clearly not as old as I thought I was because apparently there also used to be a walnut actually inside the cone. Eventually the walnut piece inside the chocolate was removed, leaving the one nut that topped the cone – which is the only walnut piece I remember!

it was genuinely before my time

Almost one Walnut Whip is eaten every 2 seconds in the UK
If you are old enough to remember the walnut at the bottom you should also remember back then they weren't even made by Rowntree Mcintosh... they were made by Duncan's. Rowntree Mcintosh took Duncan's over, moved production, lost the Plain version (my favourite!!!) AND the walnut on the bottom.
Sad to say Nestle isn't the only guilty party with Walnut Whips LOL

morning all just read that in Scotland from today that they have lowered the tolerance on how much you can drink before driving ( 1pint) Now I wish that England goes one better and makes it zero tolerance having lost a friend through a drink driver hitting him whilst he was cycling Any thoughts??
  • Morning all.

It's so cold and damp out there really don't want to move from my bed. But unfortunately I must! Lots to do this morning so best attempt to get a move on. Catch you all later

Scotland here. I think it should be zero to be honest, but I never drive if I've had anything to drink. You should always be in full control of your car - it's a weapon really.

I think that once we're used to this, it'll go to zero tolerance to be honest. We're easing in gently :rotfl:

I disagree with a zero tolerance. Whilst I dont condone drink driving, I do think it would be far too easy to come up more than zero on the test. Sherry triffle, mouthwash (perhaps). A glass of wine you had with a meal the night before, etc. Low, yes, zero, no.
