Not only is the tomato chilli soup not in the offer in A but it does not appear on the APG. I bought 5 of them, 15 cans in all. £3.78 APG on a spend of £17.95.

So...am I missing a glitch yet again?!?:rotfl: Answer: Yes:o. :rotfl:I didn't expect it. I need an alert every time SFSB posts:rotfl:. (And Evangeline too.) I didn't expect a glitch on a different day - oh well, I've got plenty of soups already anyway (we really don't need more) so I'll give this one a miss (:rotfl:). I'm happy with my tins of ordinary tomato from £1.50 RTC from months ago (25p each:)).0 -

The offer appears to be on various different tins of Heinz products and is '5 for £3'. There are normal soups, exotic soups, Weight Watchers soups, spaghetti, beans and probably more. I would have done a bit more searching but I had to be somewhere.
I took some pics of the shelves, so perhaps some of you would like to join me in trying to figure out if there is anything worth buying?
The best I can see so far is for some of the exotic soups. Probably buy 5 for £3 and maybe 3 of them compare against T's 3 for £3, giving an apg of around £1.11 on a £3 spend.
Although, for the more adventurous amongst you, how about you buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup A v S? My calculations are that you will pay £6 for the 10 tins and the apg will be 10 x 19p + £1 (10%) =£2.90.
If this works it means that you will be able to buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup for £3.10, or 31p per tin.
Anyone fancy joining in?:D
Nice pictures of shelving:rotfl:, but no thank you - 31p:eek: a tin is far too dear for me:rotfl::rotfl:. EDIT: However, if it's that price minus a £2 GC... er... still no:wall:, I just don't need them.Deleted_User wrote: »Beans... 3p more in in T / M
However the black soup tins are 2 for £2 in M & 3 for £3 in T.
So if you bought 10 tins in A = £6
APG would see cost in A as being £11.90
Same cost in M would be £10
So APG would return something around £2.50 so the 10 tins would therefore cost £3.50 therefore £0.35 a tin.
Weight watches compared to T would = £0.04 per tin.
So I think from the little research I've done the 'cream of' in the black tin is the best.
If that really is 4p per tin, I might be interested!:D0
