Ooo, some price alerts! (Not that this now is of much interest, but it is what I originally returned to the thread a few moments ago to post.)

Only ones worth mentioning are items like the Tango Apple 6 pack cans pack, and 7Up Free 6 pack cans pack too.

Now £1.59 for T. Sains £3.20 for one (and a mbuy you also would never want to hit) but they don't compare against T anymore, so some of the Elite may now be off to M, who say they do! Do they have a points offer back on them in M or not?

A price alert - to tell me that T's (or whoever it was, I forget) are now no longer 2 for '1' on the 6 pack Lucozades but are now on some much more expensive offer:(. Come on - a price increase of £1.15 is not what qualifies as some low price I wish to be alerted about!:rotfl:

I've just looked around (like you do:rotfl:) to see if there is anything good vs Waitrose. And... for anyone (outside the Northern Ireland system) who is particular about it having to be Kellogg's for Corn Flakes, I notice the Kellogg's Corn Flakes (750g) are on an offer than meets my guide price of 20p/100g! It's very rare that they go down to that - although having to buy at least two (and, above that, in twos).

I notice they're on a "Save 50% on any 2nd item" offer. When I click on that, it comes up with 48 items (signed out) in the W offer. I note that, while there are different prices in the offer, this is not a 2 for '1', or 3 for '2' etc., offer, so should work.

I wonder if it might glitch in our favour if one cheap item was bought with an expensive one? Does anyone want to try and see?

As for the Corn Flakes - and if there is a glitch waiting to be found then it wouldn't necessarily be those that would make sense but that may be irrelevant, instead you'd get a cheap porridge pot and any other more expensive item the prices per unit would effectively be irrelevant but as regards the stated prices per unit - it's not just the Kellogg's Corn Flakes 750g but also the Frosties 750g that meet my 20p/100g, although each of those is the same individual price.

I notice the Kellogg's porridge pots 99p and 5 for £4 in A and wondering if any trigger to that 5 for £4 offer as well:rotfl:?

As for the 50% off offer, I suspect the APG will give you full price on the more expensive one and halve the lower price:( - but, how would it cope, if at all, with different prices? The only ones worth getting, if it just comes up with straight 10% cheaper prices, are the Kellogg's Corn Flakes 750g and the Frosties 750g. For once, msm has just those marked with "Savvy buy"s:T. I don't see a problem as regards it working out the 50% - I think it will work like x for £y offers whether individual prices are the same or different, and I personally don't think it is likely to compare to W at 2 for full price doubled, but who knows? If it is glitchable though, the trick is to get it to glitch in our favour.

Maybe no harm in trying a couple of porridge pots together with a couple of Corn Flakes or a couple of Frosties - anyone want to try? SFSB?:rotfl:

If it works completely correctly, as it should, but perhaps we don't really want it to, it would be a 'good' price on the 2 packets of cereal and 10% vs an expensive price of about 2 for £1.49 on the porridge pots is probably capable of being lived with!

Perhaps it doesn't work like that and you'd need to get 1 of each for it to glitch (i.e. one porridge pot and one or the other (not both) of the Corn Flakes/Frosties) as otherwise 2 of each, the porridge pot would "see" the other porridge pot (even if it was a different flavour) and the Corn Flakes or Frosties would "see" the other Corn Flakes/Frosties. But what if four different products within the 'offer' were bought, all with different individual prices at W?). Just to stress that I doubt there's any glitch in any event. But... you never know!

    Morning folks

Hoping that by going into work early this morning I can try and catch up on some of the work I've not done for the last couple of days. Quite difficult when there is only one topic of conversation. There is a couple of people sat in front of me on the bus talking about it

I couldn't get quidco to work last night so hope it will today :)

  • qoc I'm so sorry for you and for your colleagues, if I recall correctly you work in a hospital? I can't imagine how you all are feeling. Who could have anticipated anything like this, it's so sad. Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick, but it must be even more saddening for those in the caring professions.

    Morning all :D

Does Clicksnap cashback have to wait for a fiver owed to be paid (like COS) or will it come once I have over £1 to be paid from Quidco? I've got over four quid just sitting there!
