The offer appears to be on various different tins of Heinz products and is '5 for £3'. There are normal soups, exotic soups, Weight Watchers soups, spaghetti, beans and probably more. I would have done a bit more searching but I had to be somewhere.
I took some pics of the shelves, so perhaps some of you would like to join me in trying to figure out if there is anything worth buying?
The best I can see so far is for some of the exotic soups. Probably buy 5 for £3 and maybe 3 of them compare against T's 3 for £3, giving an apg of around £1.11 on a £3 spend.
Although, for the more adventurous amongst you, how about you buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup A v S? My calculations are that you will pay £6 for the 10 tins and the apg will be 10 x 19p + £1 (10%) =£2.90.
If this works it means that you will be able to buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup for £3.10, or 31p per tin.
Anyone fancy joining in?:D
Beans... 3p more in in T / M
However the black soup tins are 2 for £2 in M & 3 for £3 in T.
So if you bought 10 tins in A = £6
APG would see cost in A as being £11.90
Same cost in M would be £10
So APG would return something around £2.50 so the 10 tins would therefore cost £3.50 therefore £0.35 a tin.
Weight watches compared to T would = £0.04 per tin.
So I think from the little research I've done the 'cream of' in the black tin is the best.0 -
Not that I need anymore washing powder:o but I found a damaged box of 40 washes DAZ today in reduction section for £2.20
I got an SA to weigh it for me on the veg scales (with plastic bag lining the scales bowl) & it is correct weight:D

I also managed to go wrong with the Sanex somehow.
But delighted with the results all the same.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

RL and Mum falling have meant I have hardly come on here at all. Particularly cross at missing the cheese glitch. I keep seeing the Udis and keep going to sada website to try and work out how it's a £2 profit but this Bear of Little Brain can't work it out at all. I did at one point try searching to find the beginning of the glitch but couldn't. Please, pretty please, will someone explain this to me? Please?
Just read post above. Is it that they are not in stock so we are not charged but APG works?0 -
Strewth hope things are starting to improve for dd.

Glad you have got it sorted, hope you are feeling better, and your DD. Hopefully the girls involved will learn from this the hard way.
I'm sure your little visitor for tea will cheer you all up.
Enjoy x
PS been thinking about you today xVery manipulative little madams I think as they can say they weren't actually doing anything wrong but dd felt intimidated...again
I will be back on the phone tomorrow.
Gs has come down with an ear infection so no visit today, I am babysitting tomorrow though while dd1 goes to college. (why does it look like I've spelt college wrong??)
Think DD3 has been watching too many horror films.
Apparently she has always thought I have enough food if there is a zombie apocalypse.
And we would hide in the garage. :rotfl:
I will add she is 17.
We have a plan for the zombie apocolypse TS - we are going to barricade ourselves in costco :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Those were the days Westie:T yes the clipstrip club I bet HC had a few of these;)What's the weather like where you are ....got cold enough for your coat yet;)
Nah, not really, but you wouldn't think so the way some of the people are dressed down here. One bloke gets on the train wearing a great big heavy jacket, thick gloves and a scarf up round his nose, as well as one of these:

Quite scary when all you can see is pair of eyes.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
