Could someone give me a bit of a hand. Took today off work as I had booked a Sada delivery. Order confirmed 2 days ago. Email sent this morning saying it would be with me between 2pm and 3pm.

At 1.45pm, I get a text saying "your order has been cancelled because of a payment issue". !!!!!!. Why did they confirm the order and email this morning saying it was definitely coming if they pull out at the last minute? Can they do that?

I phoned Sada home shopping and it seemed like I had been transferred to someone in India (really strong accent) who couldn't help me, so she then transferred me to someone in America (really strong accent) who was just as useless. I had to explain the whole predicament to her and she more or less told me to fork off and there was nothing more they could do. Should I complain or is this normal for Sada? I've never done a delivery order before.

Soooo annoyed as we have a party at work for a hostel we work with and I had ordered shed loads of biscuits and party food to take with me for the children they work with.
Hi Mimi, Do complain to the email on page 1 of this thread. I had a similar thing a couple of weeks ago. Order accepted, window given, then my bank froze the payment (and my card!) as they considered the request possibly fraudulent, as ASDA tried to process payment through Dublin!! They had never done this before, as store is in East Sussex England! ASDA customer service were useless, and told me it must have been due to insufficient funds, but that was incorrect. I sent a complaint to the directorate email, explaining how this had really messed up my day, as I had had to go shopping, and suggesting I would need a good reason to try them again. It took a few days, but I got a nice apology and £20 evoucher credit. The payment for my next order then went through Dublin too, but my bank were expecting it this time, so no probs. Maybe ASDA have changed their payment bit of the business to Ireland to cut tax bills??

Quorn showing 3 for £5 for me :(

It's different ones but not really worth doing as there's no big return on any of them.

This one I will do though if I get to go out later as I buy these anyway  Multibuy 2 for £3 recently gone on and not showing on msm. If it works it should return £1.30 on a £3 spend for 2 bags against T. First 2 should also work v Sainsbobs

  • Can I ask....the whiskey with 6000 pts in morries that's on offer in t... Does it work if you just buy this on its own? No fillers etc
This would be my first proper shop so not sure if it would work...

I've a £10 gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket:)
I've looked at other alternative points but i would be spending £5 of my own money just to get a £5 voucher back..not very :money:. This way I'd get a nice present for a very good friend of ours:T at a very good price:)

    Any help appreciated:)
  • I paid my local A another trip this afternoon and found a new offer. It appears that the offer is so new that A.com or msm haven't heard about it yet and the multis are off everything I could find.

The offer appears to be on various different tins of Heinz products and is '5 for £3'. There are normal soups, exotic soups, Weight Watchers soups, spaghetti, beans and probably more. I would have done a bit more searching but I had to be somewhere.

I took some pics of the shelves, so perhaps some of you would like to join me in trying to figure out if there is anything worth buying?

The best I can see so far is for some of the exotic soups. Probably buy 5 for £3 and maybe 3 of them compare against T's 3 for £3, giving an apg of around £1.11 on a £3 spend.

Although, for the more adventurous amongst you, how about you buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup A v S? My calculations are that you will pay £6 for the 10 tins and the apg will be 10 x 19p + £1 (10%) =£2.90.

If this works it means that you will be able to buy 10 tins of £1.19 soup for £3.10, or 31p per tin.

    Anyone fancy joining in?:D
