    Hello

My heart goes out to your DD, it is such a worry isn't it, but I'm sure she will get through this having a lovely supportive Mam like you.
I hate bullying I have twin girls age 8 and this is my worse fear.
One of my girls has had a problem with one particular girl since year 1, wouldn't call it bullying but where there is trouble this girl is always around. I have had to go into the school on numerous occasions to sort things out and I always will. I always say if I can't sort things out as a parent then nobody else can.
    Good luck x

Awww, thank you. I just feel sad that she has had to go through this carp. We just want to protect our kids don't we and it makes me feel so helpless that this has been going on for weeks and is getting worse. Am sure your girls will be fine with you on the case :A Just like my dd will be once we get this sorted.

Feel free to have another special weekend at a time of your choosing as well (or indeed many special weekends and weeks), but please leave Christmas alone. Despite some of the comments on here, it is not just another day but a very special day (for our family and many others who believe, and I am not just talking about Father Christmas :santa2:).

I appreciate people have different perspectives and that it sometimes presents challenges accommodating everyone's wishes - we drew the line when we had children that Christmas Day was for us, at home, and others in our family could join us if they wished (invariably not taken up as they have other plans). We then have Boxing Day or other days over the Christmas holidays where other parts of the family get together at our house or at others (sometimes hosted, sometimes sharing the preparation by bringing different items for the meal to share the load etc). The first year we did this there may have been a few noses put out of joint as it was not as we had done for a number of years, but as has also been commented, family traditions evolve (new family members, children, the passing of loved ones) and worrying about travelling huge distances, sleeping on airbeds or in unsuitable surroundings, and not enjoying it, is against the spirit and meaning of Christmas. Think what works for you/your partner/close family and what is ideal, then think of what others are wanting and if it is all possible - if not, see what compromises could work - it is give and take and generally solutions can be found . If not, then sometimes you have to do what is best for you and people (generally) get over it - our only rule was ensuring that no one was left alone as a result of the plans and it has worked out so far :A.

Try not to stress out people, it is a fantastic time of year :xmassmile:snow_grin:xmassign::xmastree::rudolf:.

Although christmas has has been challenging many times over the years the constants are the same. Midnight mass and 10 am service I hate the excesses that Christmas brings especially as children get treats all year round now anyway.
I don't agree with the number of presents santa will be bringing dgd but I do agree with the fact dd has spent all year buying them second hand.

Christmas costs have spiralled since we were kids. I have been restrained with dgd this year just her disney on ice tickets and princess dress to wear. I was restrained last year and gave her a hudl. Only present that really got used.

Yes it is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and enjoy family time.
I agree no one should be alone or excluded as I have been there. When you are the displaced person expected to visit all family in the area it is hard and does spoil the day as takes away the time you want to spend on your own traditions. I really don't mind which church I go to. One thing that makes my displaced Xmas is the excellent service at my regular premier inn. At £29 a night it makes Christmas so much more comfortable and gives me private space.

Being single I do enjoy the TV remote to myself of an evening.

Cold seems to be passing without too much damage. DD has been fretting about me having dgd, what's in her little ruck scan for accidents ect. Will need to go out to buy some salt for the dough but will play it by ear and just mooch along together in harmony.
Very cold here today but I resisted a beautiful burnt orange coat in next today. Need to find a new customer or existing customer referral offer to make it more affordable. Might check out metalanguage in the morning.

Chat with the lovely Naebbirac put my mind at rest after reading dad's hospital discharge letter from last week. Taking it day by day but may need to pop home to pick up more me d's and have go appointment on Friday then come back Monday. If not will stay and mum can pop some me d's in the post and go to my appointment for me as only for next 2 monthly prescription.

I totally know where you are coming from, worrying what her day will be like. Nothing worse than them being unhappy at school.
It will blow over and your DD will be the better person out of this.
Nobody should have to go through this, i just don't get how some parents don't care. If it was me I would be mortified!!

    Night I'm off now x
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

In M, the Bisto Roast Dinner is back on a "More Points" offer again - probably comparable to same price vs elsewhere - not sure if the points are what they were last time? Also, some Birds Eye product has some points on it that might be of interest, but I can't remember which product it was - main aim is the collection of the prices (of 'good' offers) in M rather than the points offer in M I'm afraid. (However I'm not actually afraid, that's just a turn of phrase;):rotfl:.) It seems they have back on the same points offers some products that they had on them originally - so, the points things just rotating around like the pricing! Fairy liquitabs back onto points offer, but looks like no good as A now £10.

Some Air Wicks that were on offer at £3.49, that finished apparently on 30th November, now on a price of £3.40:rotfl:.

I'm having trouble with the frozen Chicken Livers now - it seems like the product has been shifted out in some M stores to make way for seasonal frozen products. It may be vs 50p or may go N/A - not too much to worry as only 5p lost anyway. I'll keep it on the list for now. Also having problems with the Oven Muffins (again:mad:) but I suspect they will still be 49p. The Wild Bird Feeder that was on 75p RTC in M almost got removed on Monday as I was having trouble finding it last week so, after about two or three successive troubles, I conclude that it's no longer available and delete it off - then, just before I was going to do so, it turned up in one of my stores at 75p so kept it on! That store now OOS of Wild Bird Feeder so, I think these have either gone as regards the 75p RTC or may be hard to find now. I'll keep it for now - it's in danger of disappearing from the list next time!

I also think the Carling at £5 (bigger volume, as opposed to the ones at more expensive price on "offer":rotfl:) is probably now OOS and no longer available. Other items will appear on the list (I've got to find all those Rajahs again:(). The frozen Pollock packs may be on 2 for £3.50 again - or maybe not.

The Bloo toilet cleaners on now on a.com, but not yet on msm. If you are quick, then one of them may go with the Harpic Bleach White & Shine (either Citrus OR Original) vs M. Not as good as the toilet cleaner combo. was, but maybe okay - as long as not so quick that it misses the price collection altogether.

I know everyone will be relieved :rotfl: when I say I have a confirmation email. :j:j:j

Once I knew Dodo had booked ok after 4 mulled wines I may add.

I then cancelled mine, got cancellation email straight away  and then booked again, confirmation came straight through. I didn't get that last screen where you can log out at the bottom and confirming the date and time before so something definitely did go wrong with mine. Only me. :o

Goodnight I shall sleep better now. :rotfl:

Second shop a success - Chips Ahoy giving back more than was paid! And there are no Chips Ahoys on the M list:eek::eek:_pale_:rotfl:! Nothing more to report as I bought 10p Haribos etc.

[EDIT: I don't think these will work in the daytime. I expect the A mbuy to appear on a.com and msm before breakfast today.]
