:(You just never can tell can't you?:( Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese comparing vs full price at M, yet the Cheesecake that I thought might compare vs same price more, working. Then again, I stuck to two of the same one and didn't risk trying mix and match. I found slightly weightier (485g) Strawberry Cheesecake instore, but stuck to what I knew with the Lemon ones.
However, may be of no consequence as may change again, as could be Jacobs working but the Cheesecake not on their next price collection. As for the Jacobs - I wouldn't risk them on the Wednesday info. (They'll probably work on that now!) I have them in four separate places today. They are showing £2 in two places and £1 in two places. Two of the four price indications in my M store are what I am calling SELs (in other words, those with the B/C details and the name of the product in smaller type) and two of them are red-border offer labelling. In case you think it's the SELs saying £2 but offer labels of £1 over the top of them - no, this is not the case - I found four separate places, two of them showing £2, one of them a SEL and the other the red-offer labelling, and two of them £1, one of them a SEL and the other red-offer labelling. All in the same one M store. Make of that what you will.
I probably ended up with straight 10% cheaper:(, as lost on the Jacobs. They didn't pick up the Savers Mixed Veg. on Monday. It may reappear at some point - I didn't have it in the stores I checked today, but perhaps it's now in the APG stores or maybe it will reappear next week as gets rolled out into different M stores at different times...:rotfl::(
1 x Jacob's Biscuits for Cheese (250g)£2.00£2.00
2 x ASDA Chosen by You Lemon Cheesecake (470g)£3.00£2.00
1 x ASDA Smartprice Mixed Vegetables (1Kg)£0.77 N/A
1 x Nabisco Chips Ahoy Cookies - Popcorn Candy Chip (1...£1.99£1.00
1 x Nabisco Chips Ahoy Cookies - Crispy Choco Caramel ...£1.99£1.00
I am going to be N/Aing the 1Kg Carrots packs as I now have only the 1.2Kg carrots, at much better offer pricing, in M. They don't compare on the APG to the higher weight at M, but may well compare - to more expensively at A:( - the other way around.0 -
HI All looking for a bit of advice
bought a bugaboo pushchair from a friend of a friend on fb, it has a slight fault that need some attention, have been in touch with the company and they won't look at or repair it as I'm the new owner
They have a get out clause that warranty is non transferable, but if the person who i bought it off had had it.
It would of been covered as it is under 2 years old and all their buggies have a standard 2 year warranty.
I know it is under 2 years as the frame has a date stamp on it. so should it matter that I'm not the original owner. I can't get the person to c about as they have moved abroad.
have owned a stokke before and the warranty went with the buggy not the owner. any help please as not sure about this. tia
You need to get in touch with the manufacturer about this. You have no redress against the seller as you bought it on (an unregulated) FB page. there is no such thing as a non-transferable warranty. Things are sold as fit for purpose or not, regardless of the owner! If the product is faulty you should complain to the manufacturer in your case. You could complain to the original seller but they are unlikely to entertain you if you weren't the original buyer. They'd likely want receipts and the like. Hope you can sort it out0 -
