Sorry TS and Hornetgirl.......I hope you can get the situation resolved.
I think we have our perfect Christmas planned in our heads but it often clashes with the perfect Christmas others want us to share.

You could both do exactly what YOU want to do..........surely family want you to be happy. Or am I misreading it?

    fifa's goal of the year

    http://www.fifa.com/ballon-dor/puskas-award/

ive just seen a fantastic goal by a woman on the news. its the public who chooses the winner, so I voted for her. the others are big pro's who we see every day. Stephanie roche

I would love to see what fifa do if she wins against the likes of Ronaldo

People still buying the items that they should be buying in S, T or M:(. First one, no use - they didn't buy enough items - but they got the Clover (doubtless 1Kg so no use anyway) and the 97p eggs that compare more expensive vs M (I don't think these would work the other way). The second one, they bought 2 packs of Kellogg's Variety pack at £2 each, a few days after they went up from £1:rotfl:.

Buying what (non-own-label-wise) they should be buying in Sains I suspect - and no need to buy two of the yogurts:

11 items (9 different) on your bill qualify for comparison

    Comparison total (compared products only)£13.63£18.75

    Vs M
    1 x Pringles - Cheese & Onion (190g)£1.00£2.48:(

I'm not liking this new price collection, as they appear to have full price on the Pringles - let's hope it goes soon. I'm not sure I'd buy Pringles in Sains. either - Pringles Salt & Vinegar, perhaps surprisingly, returned N/A on BM a few weeks ago.

    But...
    1 x McVitie's Family Circle (800g)£2.50£2.00

Vs M. A pretty good price for Family Circle! Especially as msm.co.uk says £6 for M:rotfl:. However, it says £2 for T, and I can confirm that, as of now, it does compare vs £2 T on the APG. Maybe not that good after all as T's price is genuine:rotfl:. Northern Ireland - all is not lost!:D

I snapped at OH's aunt tonight which is not like me at all. :o She was trying to give me reasons for DD1 not wanting to be home as if none of them had entered my mind. :o:o

We always spend boxing day with Mr TS's family at his cousins but I don't want to share DD1 and Teeny too early in the day as not seeing them xmas day which I had sort of come to terms with.

Mr TS says he is not doing xmas dinner twice I had hoped we would open presents, have small meal and then go later. :(

Being told I am the selfish one, why is no one else selfish doing what they want.

Your not being selfish hug4.gif you have an expectation and its not being met. It's ok to be disappointed. It's normal to be disappointed! I expect it will happen to us all one day. Me and Mr FC joke about being sat here eating a pork pie for our Christmas dinner one day :o :rotfl:
Your DD and her partner and Teeny might just want a special day together. At that age you don't think ahead, it's all about love and babies ;). Traditions are lovely but they sometimes die out. It's sad when they do but that's how it is.

It's only a day, just like any other day really. Chances are there will be much more silly memories that will stick in your mind than what you did at Christmas and probably more special. All the moments that made you smile that you didn't plan for.....:)

I can say this because Im not a granny yet :p

Hi again, I'm going to try and de-lurk properly after my very cheeky lunchtime request for votes. I just wanted to say thank you everyone for your kind votes and apologies for not introducing myself properly before making a cheeky request.

I'm Mrs pigtails and there is a hubby and DD (8). I've lurked on and off since the old Tesco days where if the shopping was cheaper elsewhere you got double the money back. I think that was where the ELITE started from - I remember the lamb, shampoo and everything else. I must admit I go through phases, as sometimes real-life prohibits keeping up to date (full time accountant and tonight I've just got back from a governors meeting). I loved the cleaning glitch at asda a few years back where everything seemed to work out at costing 32p each cleaning product. I've not joined in with any glitches for a while as I still seem to have lots of washing powder, fabric conditioner, toiletries etc. I'm hoping to get the stashes down, and there is only 3 of us.

I'll stop rambling, but hi and thank you for the votes. I've also just managed to vote for Herbie again (but on computer at home now)
    welcome

I think you and Mr TS and whoever else is there should just enjoy christmas. DD3 will be there? What about DD2? what is she doing? Don't let it spoil things. You are close to DD1 and you will all catch up at sometime over Christmas. Just enjoy it when you do......do you really think miss Teeny is going to care about the date when she opens all those lovely pressies you've bought her? I think not ;)
