Oh David. that made me laugh out loud "Percy" :rotfl:

And I needed cheering up tonight, boxing day has now turned into heated discussion in front of OH's family. :o

:( that's not good. I know things get important to people but it's supposed to be a happy time. I always find it such a shame that families can be so torn over stuff like this. There's nothing else that can do this sort of thing except Christmas and weddings.

If everyone involved could just think what life would be like if the ability to make those choices was just not there anymore maybe there would be less arguments and unrest :( That's not aimed at your situation :o just an observation from my own experience. We lost all 4 of our parents in such a short space of time that the issue literally disappeared between one christmas and the next.

I snapped at OH's aunt tonight which is not like me at all. :o She was trying to give me reasons for DD1 not wanting to be home as if none of them had entered my mind. :o:o

We always spend boxing day with Mr TS's family at his cousins but I don't want to share DD1 and Teeny too early in the day as not seeing them xmas day which I had sort of come to terms with.

Mr TS says he is not doing xmas dinner twice I had hoped we would open presents, have small meal and then go later. :(

Being told I am the selfish one, why is no one else selfish doing what they want.
  • Hi again, I'm going to try and de-lurk properly after my very cheeky lunchtime request for votes. I just wanted to say thank you everyone for your kind votes and apologies for not introducing myself properly before making a cheeky request.

I'm Mrs pigtails and there is a hubby and DD (8). I've lurked on and off since the old Tesco days where if the shopping was cheaper elsewhere you got double the money back. I think that was where the ELITE started from - I remember the lamb, shampoo and everything else. I must admit I go through phases, as sometimes real-life prohibits keeping up to date (full time accountant and tonight I've just got back from a governors meeting). I loved the cleaning glitch at asda a few years back where everything seemed to work out at costing 32p each cleaning product. I've not joined in with any glitches for a while as I still seem to have lots of washing powder, fabric conditioner, toiletries etc. I'm hoping to get the stashes down, and there is only 3 of us.

I'll stop rambling, but hi and thank you for the votes. I've also just managed to vote for Herbie again (but on computer at home now)
June wins: 2 x Robbie Williams tickets, iPad mini, £200 skatehut voucher :)

A huge thank you to all posters xx

picked up some sanex so my itch has now been scratched and I will forget about getting any more.

But whilst I have been out another 2 christmas baubles have appeared...the cat seems to want to line them up like trophies in the dining room....they all seem to look different so I think they are from different houses...but who's? !!!!!
We have 5 in total now and they seem to either appear at night or when our house has no one in.....

Maybe turning into a cat like this.............
