DS1 and the Barbie doll have left the building to go out on the town. Phew is all I can say. I've not dared have a drink all night but I've got one now
I'll attempt to tell you the highlights of the evening. I honestly can't do it justice, it been a real 'you had to be there' night. Very surreal. This might be long so if your not interested .....scroll on

Thank you :A I know it's a subject close to your heart and ive appreciated your views on it from the other side. In fact I've appreciated everyone's views......and the humour0 -
Also I have found a womble that seems to generate the maximum redemption message despite it not being reached.
Anyone had this before?0 -

it's very common with army bairns who travel around a lot when they're younger. Mostly they've been educated South of the border so don't sound scottish at all. They all have very non-descript accents actually. OH has lost his accent quite a bit too.
Ah was just trying to imagine the tones. X0 -

[1] I am interested, and I'm sure my long posts never put people off:rotfl::rotfl:! I'll try to be a bit shorter though (oops, I'm adding to it by writing all this:rotfl:).
[2] :rotfl::rotfl:
(Yes, this was the part I really wanted to read.)
[3] I'm sorry, I didn't get the joke!:o Why is that the 'wrong' thing to say?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It's very amusing though, whatever it is, those very sorts of things usually are!(:rotfl:) If he'd asked me, I probably would have just answered "Yes:D", had a bit of a chuckle, and then that would be that!
[4] She certainly did, with people like you with super-human powers of being able to read how other people are feeling:rotfl:!
I think you lose me all thereafter:o, but not to worry!:rotfl::rotfl::cool:
Oh Savvythere is no joke. It's about being tactful and not necessarily saying what you think. Or maybe wanting an answer to a question but knowing that asking the question might offend.
It was a sensitive situation where the Barbie girlfriend may have got offended that members of my family were hell bent on highlighting the age difference.
I have no idea how she was feeling but wanted to do my best to make sure no one made her feel uncomfortable. Although that's practically impossible with the outspokenness and brutal honesty that goes on in here! :rotfl::rotfl:0
