Cccccold today, frost on the car this morning.

    I've got 2 apg's burning a hole in my pocket ... So I'm off for a mooch in @.

I bough DD a small flask for school, so far we've had soup, pasta in it and its kept warm for her:j

But I'm a bit worried about putting meat in it... Ie chicken casserole etc im thinking keeping it warm from 8:30am until she eats it just after 12 can't be good can it? dont want to give her an upset tummy:(
Just wondered what you all thought:)
    Am I over thinking it??

    Tia:)

    Morning gang
not been on for a while as DD2 is having probs at the T she works at and is now on sick leave while we try to sort something out :(
They were making her work till midnight and then getting her in at 5am to cash up from the night shift, she is only 19 and they were promising her the earth but using her......
anyways, she has decided to go for teacher training and applied for a teaching assistant course, she is a clever girl with good grades but didnt want to go to uni as she has just done a two year course (equivalent to 2 or 3 A levels) which should lead her in to this sort of thing....
She applied for a job via a local paper and just got a call from a training academy, they say they are a government backed company and that she needs a special diploma before she can work.
They are called DYP recruitment and they were trying to get her to pay them £295 for an online diploma......luckily I came in just in time........they have sent several links to her email and keep calling her back.
I know it must be a scam as I have never heard of this diploma and who ever heard of learning to teach on an interactive course ??
Has anyone else had experience of this, and what shall she do to get on a course ?
I just rang the jobcentre and they had no idea how to do anything like this, they gave me connexions numbers but one is a dead line and the other just rings and rings...
I wouldn't be so worried but she is already feeling low and has been sent on a course to help her self esteem by the doc.
I know you clever lot have vast life experience and could guide us xxx
    Scam
A levels are more than enough to get you into teaching assistants job well qualifications wise
I thought you needed a degree to apply for teacher training could be wrong though

I think you are right all the teachers I know, which is a few. Have degrees, not necessarily undergraduate teaching degree any subject that they then go on to do a year "teacher training" not sure if that is like a masters or not. :o
