So the law of unintended consequences means that there will be more accidents on the road, as drivers use more of their vision looking for hidden camera vans, rather than looking for kids/nuns/cats etc.

Mmmmm. My mate was driving in the dark up the M11 and hit a deer that appeared out of nowhere. It wrote off his car.
